We placed online order. The restaurant was clean. The hostess was nice. We ordered one red and one green chile tamale….oh my God. The best tamales …. better than any thing we got in Colorado. We also ordered the flautas and taco plates and those we both really good. For all the NoVA people’s this place is better than Anita’s mexican restaurants. At least the taco, tamales and flautas

Needs work on Customer Service!
Being from a border town I will say it was ok, and for sure I was glad to not have to cook my own Mexican food for once. We walked in and there was no one greeting customers. We waited for about 5 minutes maybe a little more before anyone came out. When they did they just handed us menus and didn’t take drink order or asked if we wanted appetizers or anything. I honestly didn’t say anything because I didn’t think they’d be gone that long. But NOPE, we were handed menus and again he was gone and didn’t come back for another 5-10 minutes to take our drink order.
Food over all was good, out of all the Mexican food I’ve had out here…this place has been the best.

Fantastic treat!! We came here because my son wanted a bubble tea, and being a Monday, the other Boba place was closed. He is very picky with what he eats, and just recently started eating burritos, so we went “plain” ordered the pollo burrito without tomatoes, and I chose the birria tacos, and they were both amazing! I also got the enchiladas Verde “to go” and my fiancé loved those as well. When we were leaving, my son says. “Best Mexican ever!” We will be back!!

We heard great things about MX Cocina so we visited today. Very clean location. They are kinda hidden in the backside of the shopping center. The food was all very good. The server was friendly and accommodating in regards to modifying to create vegan options. There’s no alcohol beverages available is the only negative. We’ll definitely return

Very nice and quiet. My Torta was Ginormous and the chips/Pico are superfresh. Torta was literally 6″ wide and probably 10″ long lol. Hot sauces are homemade and amazing as well. Waiter was extremely nice and pleasent. Family owned business. I’ll come back here again and try something else.

Very delicious tacos which I thought tasted authentic. Plan to go again for sure. I picked the 3 tacos as pictured, barbacoa, carne asada and al pastor. The salsa verde was a favorite. Would rate 5 stars but the process was a bit confusing, I think they are figuring out some aspects of the business still, but the food is great.

Ordered 3 street tacos today and they were amazing. Got the carne asada and pollo (chicken) and Tinga I believe is what it was called and all 3 were delicious. Very flavorful, I will definitelybe back to try the quesadillas next.

Horrendous customer service. Not once after our food was served did our waiter come back to ask if we needed anything. We wanted to order more food and I had to stand at the counter to wait for him to even acknowledge me. As we finished our meal, I asked for to-go boxes, he ignored me, and kept walking without saying anything. He definitely heard me since he came back with a couple. Odd. I’m not one to bash a small business but they need to hire someone else to wait tables or retrain their current staff. It seems like others have had similar issues.
The food was flavorful and delicious but we will not be returning nor recommending this restaurant.

Needs more eyes on it. Tucked away where you cannot see from the main road going through town. Dessert is good.
