Before I moved to Sallisaw I never ate A&W. Being here with the limited options in town, I decided to give it a shot. Everytime I get food from here it is absolutely consistent and very good. They are reasonably priced and straightforward with their menu. 10/10 from me. Ya’ll do a great job. Thank you

The counter person said she could not give us a receipt because they had no paper for the register. We had to wait at least 20 minutes for our food after we placed our order. There was a sign on the Pepsi that it was out of order. There was no tartar sauce. After ordering and waiting the 20 minutes the order taker came back and said there was no baja sauce for the tacos I ordered. There were dead flies all in the window sill and the eating area was just dirty. I had not eaten there in a couple of years and was really disappointed in how dirty and how the service had declined. We will not be returning to this store.

Do not go here. Placed an order at the counter, brought food out 35 minutes later. It was missing 1 item and they took all the food back. Waited 20 more minutes and they had misplaced our entire order and had no food ready. Couldn’t get the amount to reconcile on our invoice. Finally just gave us a refund and said good luck over an hour later because they messed up the order.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. Most of the employees are friendly, some not so much. Food is usually always fresh depending on who is working. Other time’s its greasy and can tell it’s been there for a while. Tea is usually good. Restaurant is usually clean this day not so much & the bathrooms the last few times I was there was dirty. But otherwise it’s a 9/10 most days.

5 stars for an A&W may see odd since they don’t have the absolute best food around, but it nails all the expectations of a fast food burger place. Also has Long John Silver’s which meets all expectations there. The Root Beer Float in a cold glass mug is the best reason to go. (Sallisaw, OK location)

Staff is nice and aren’t angry at you when you’re taking your time. I used to live by an a&w 18 years ago in Texas and miss it. I cross state borders to go to this one since it’s closest to me now. If you ask to get a rootbeer in a frosted mug they’ll do it.

The food was good and fresh. The A&W root beer was the best I ever had. The restaurant itself smelled like old cooking grease, which if you’ve worked in the industry you’d know exactly how that smells. The seats were sticky, even though it appeared clean. You may have a better experience if you do drive-thru.

It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. Everyone was so nice. From the outside the place looks brand new, but inside all the booths are broken. The one we were in had such a badly torn seat that it ripped the side out of my skirt. My husband had the long john silvers side and said everything tasted great. I had his hush puppies and they were perfectly cooked. I had A&W, the Papa burger and large fries. The burger had great flavor but it was boring. It’s a smaller burger than I expected and I was still hungry when done (hence, eating the hush puppies!). It’s pretty much just a double cheeseburger with some kind of sauce on it.

The food was OK, just average. However the service was terribly long and it wasn’t the workers fault. They was flying around there the best they could but who In the world only has like 4 workers in a whole restaurant on Father’s day?? Come on management you need full staff! The drive thru man was taking orders on a headset and front counter. The line was very long, the poor man ran miles that day taking orders. 1 man doing back wall and 1 man making food. These guys get A+ for effort and keeping it going but management failed for making them do that!
