First time coming here. I ordered just a burger and cheese curds with a rootbeer float. And my girlfriend got chicken and a cheese fries. Took 15 minutes to originally get our order. When there was one couple in the store when we got there. Got our food finally and I go to check it. They didn’t give me a burger, they gave me a fish platter instead and we never got our rootbeer floats. After returning the fish and asking for my burger that I originally wanted. Proceeded to wait another 10-15 minutes and watched 3 groups come in and get served by the time I got my burger. And when I got it and opened it, it was soggy, the meat was cold, it was poorly put together like a little kid made it. I was highly disappointed to the point where I didn’t even want to eat my food.

It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great. Everyone was so nice. From the outside the place looks brand new, but inside all the booths are broken. The one we were in had such a badly torn seat that it ripped the side out of my skirt. My husband had the long john silvers side and said everything tasted great. I had his hush puppies and they were perfectly cooked. I had A&W, the Papa burger and large fries. The burger had great flavor but it was boring. It’s a smaller burger than I expected and I was still hungry when done (hence, eating the hush puppies!). It’s pretty much just a double cheeseburger with some kind of sauce on it.

The food was OK, just average. However the service was terribly long and it wasn’t the workers fault. They was flying around there the best they could but who In the world only has like 4 workers in a whole restaurant on Father’s day?? Come on management you need full staff! The drive thru man was taking orders on a headset and front counter. The line was very long, the poor man ran miles that day taking orders. 1 man doing back wall and 1 man making food. These guys get A+ for effort and keeping it going but management failed for making them do that!

We were there today 7/3/21 mid afternoon. There were 4 other customers there already seated and no line. The drink station was nasty. There was dried soda all over, indicating that it hasn’t been cleaned in quite a while. Every table except one small one was dirty and the staff, including the manager were just standing around talking, then two of them went on break. The floor was nasty and their solution for a full trash bin was to place a bus tub on top of it instead of emptying the trash. We’re will never set foot in this place again. The laziness of the employees and lack of management will lead to this place failing.

So haven’t been here in over 4 years, moved back to the area, and had to come back to eat it. So my co worker and I pull up, wasn’t very busy. She ordered the grilled salmon taco with extra chilli sauce. She gets handed to her shrimp tacos with no extra sauce. I ordered the fish tacos with chilli sauce added, didn’t get the chilli sauce, burger was lack luster as well. Didn’t receive my order of clams till about 10 mins later. Everyone was being given the wrong order. If I could give 0 stars or less I would. I realized I missed the nostalgia, not the actual food

The food was average, the customer service was good but, the overall condition of the restaurant is poor. It’s very dirty and dinghy. The lights in the bathroom make you feel like you’re in an alleyway how dim they are. Go here for decent food but, don’t expect it to be eye appealing.

The chili cheese fries where great but the hot dog buns one was dry and the other was nice and steamed. My husband ordered his hamburger with only mustard, ketchup and cheese and got a full on loaded burger. Had to crape all the junk off because he didn’t want to wait for a new one then his fries would be cold. And they weren’t busy when we went in. Guess they sell more long John silver’s fish than A & W burgers. Not consistent. And what’s up with the flies. Yuck. Not sure if we r going back.

The food was good and fresh. The A&W root beer was the best I ever had. The restaurant itself smelled like old cooking grease, which if you’ve worked in the industry you’d know exactly how that smells. The seats were sticky, even though it appeared clean. You may have a better experience if you do drive-thru.
