Stopped quick to feed the family and it wasn’t bad at all. Prices were higher than what we saw online; so not sure if it was just an older customer photo, or a Cape Cod thing, regardless, the food was decent, kids turned happy, and we adventured on after that. Chicken tenders were a big hit, and fries, as well. Corn Dog was small for the price, just as well, since it isn’t health food. Good experience overall.

I’ve always wanted to eat here in all the years I’ve passed by – finally got my chance today. Both staff and customers followed the COVID-19 guidelines. We ordered at the inside counter. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I got the bacon cheeseburger w a frosted A&W root beer, my husband got the cheeseburger, a plentiful boat of strip clams, and a frosted A&W root beer. We were impressed that they handed out paper straws. The bacon was crispy and both burgers grilled well. Both delicious. The clam strips were fresh and not greasy at all. Of course the root beer was delicious and served in a frosted mug just like the old days. It’s a great fast food restaurant with indoor or outdoor seating and it’s possible to order from outside through their window. Definitely recommend, but One note: they’re cash only, so come prepared.

Old school drive up feel, everything from authentic icy mug rootbeer to fresh fried clams.

Good food, but waiting 30 min for a burger, hot dog & fries is not worth it. Especially when they don’t even tell you about the time it will take when you order. I sat down at a shared table and a gentleman informed me that he had been waiting for over 30 min already. Being located on Rt. 28 with lots of families and tourists showing, up nothing is fast, but I wouldn’t have brought my kids there to sit at a picnic table for 30 minutes bored out of their mind if I had known in advance. The prices here are also higher than your normal fast food restaurant. The higher prices and longer wait times do not equate to a better product. When I finally got my food the server thanked me for my patience. Where was that information 30 min ago, before I ordered. There was certainly no wait to take my money and order. Bad customer service overall.

Such a great reminder of the past! Only wanted a traditional root beer float but ended up getting fries and corn dog bites for the kids. Excellent service at the window! Got a couple of tshirts for my Mother. She is the one who introduced me to all things root beer after all! Can’t for the life of me understand why this chain doesn’t/can’t/won’t make a comeback! I’d for sure frequent the place. If you’re out the way of the Cape absolutely stop by! You won’t be disappointed!
