Avila’s El Ranchito has become my ultimate vegetarian haven. Their Avocado Burrito has me hooked, and I’ve been enjoying it for 20 consecutive days. The restaurant offers a wide range of flavorful vegetarian options that go beyond the usual salads. The Avocado Burrito is a symphony of tastes, blending creamy avocados, savory rice, beans, and tantalizing spices. With fresh ingredients, warm ambiance, and consistent excellence, Avila’s El Ranchito is a must-visit for veggie lovers.

It’s always great and fast service at Avila’s El Ranchito on Laguna Niguel, Dine in. Absolutely delicious food they give you big portions, and the staff always asks if we need anything else. I totally recommend this place. You won’t regret it.

Not sure how you mess up carne asada this bad. But just look at the photos, all fat and sickly grey color. Couldn’t even get a char on the meat.

This is a busy place with a small bar and we went for. I think Taco Tuesday or they had a taco menu. You could only order a certain type. We ordered the hard shell tacos and they were kind of greasy actually. I think they’re made in advance. The guacamole and chips was fine and the service was pretty good.

The restaurant says Mexican/American flavored food. The flavor was not good to me and I am Mexican/American. I grew up eating homemade Mexican food, I never had salsa with green onions in it, yuck. I would not recommend this restaurant based on the flavor of the food. Staff was nice, food came hot. I had a cup of soup, 1 chicken taco and 1 red enchilada. The enchilada sauce tasted like it was from a can. The taco had alot of grease come out after each bite.

There were some flies in my water that were frozen in the ice cubes. It was disgusting. I told the manager and he didn’t have much to say. Love the chain, but will not return to this location.

Americanized Mexican food. Portions are good, the soup was yummy. Guac was bland. They charge $2 for sliced serrano peppers but whatever. Dog friendly patio and really good service.

Sat down at the bar, ordered a drink. Drink was good. Wasn’t offered a menu or water. Food came. Ordered the two item combo plate. At the avilas in lake forest it comes with two flautas and a tamal. They brought the plate out with one flauta and a tamal. The flauta was soggy, my side of flour tortillas were stale, overall not a good experience. $36 for a below average meal. I’ll stick to the one in lake forest.
