I’m leaving 2 stars only because the waiter James was very nice and attentive otherwise it’d have left less..We ordered the margarita Flatbread and it was mediocre. It wasn’t fully cooked and the tomatoes were unripe. My friend ordered the house salad with no feta and chicken but upon receiving the salad it was loaded with feta and the chicken was dry. I ordered the beet salad. It had 4 tiny unripe beets.. also was supposed to come with goat cheese and instead was covered in feta cheese.. I never write reviews but felt I could have saved $75 dollars and had better food at in and out..

Very nicely prepared and presented food. I am very cost conscious and feel that I received good value for a wonderful lunch here. Even a simple hamburger on brioche was obviously top quality. Great selection of salads, blackened salmon tacos, and many tempting sandwiches. Beautiful ocean view and elegant setting. I plan to return often.

Austin’s was fabulous. Great service and staff. Amazing food. I loved the small menu. I enjoyed the rib eye steak and mashed potatoes. A side order of potato skins. They were delicious. A great place to enjoy a quite meal with a beautiful view of the ocean. Thank you guys for a great dinner. You guys rock.

We just celebrated three family birthdays with a big dinner at Austen’s. First, a shout out to our waitress, Britni, whose joyful demeanor, efficiency, and great sense of humor were a big part of our enjoyment of the evening. The food was excellent as always. Austen’s is ideal for romantic dinners, family celebrations, and ladies luncheons. I note that this site asks if the prices are “mid-range” or “fine dining.” As far as the quality, it is definitely fine dining. As far as price, it depends on what a person is accustomed to paying for a restaurant meal. The Pierpont and especially Austen’s are very special destinations. Absolutely delightful.

Numerous choices for seafood & it’s preparation. I love the house fish & chips as well as the shrimp & chips. Excellent quality. View of the Ventura Harbor. Informal ordering at the counter & they call your number when the meal is ready. Beer & wine available. There’s also fresh seafood to buy & take home. Never disappointed yet!
