Refreshing experience: I visit a lot of places through out the DFW some good, some bad. We just so happened upon this place and I’m glad we did. From the moment we opened the door it was nothing but good vibes. The food was great. The jalapeno gravy, just wow. (I hate Gravy by the way). First time I had a gravy that I’ve liked. The service amazing, gives you that local diner feel where everyone knows everyone. Also the 4 dollars mimosa might have you trying to find your phone in the dark with the flashlight on your phone. Please support……Well came back again and nothing has changed but what I ordered, I got that chicken fried ribeye with brussel sprouts, and mash potatoes with the jalapeno gravy….. Finished the whole plate.

This is it, the place you’ve been looking for! First visit today and I’m sure this place will be on our regular rotation. The staff (Aunt Cissy included!)was so nice and friendly. Hell, even if they weren’t, the food is worth coming back for! I had the chicken fried chicken and “hangover fries” and they were delicious. Crispy chicken crust that could be eaten by itself! In full disclosure,I learned today that there’s a gravy that I actually like, matter of fact I love it! Their jalapeno gravy is something to write home about! My hubby had the french toast and chicken fried bacon,all so tasty and perfect. Mimosa was $4 and they have specials for the carafe and a mimosa tower. So many good things I can share but I say, go check it out for yourself!

I ordered a baked potato with brisket and it barely had brisket, about 1 oz spread around with bunch of bbq sauce on for $20 . It wasn’t tasty either.. the grill back there looked gross too. Last and 1st visit . Overrated place for sure.

Thier Saturday Brunch (11am-3pm) is a CULINARY MASTERPIECE! I had the Pancake Battered French Toast with Chicken Fired Bacon, and I have to think where these items have been all my life. Dipped in thier jalapeno gravy, the chicken fried bacon is on a league of it’s own. With every bite, my brain released endorphins to tell me this is the most perfect thing I’ve ever had. This, to me, is the best place for breakfast without a doubt. Start your day off right and come here for good eats. I say that with my utmost recommendation!

I love the food at the State Fair everything fried and everything so carbalicious! With this being said~I really enjoyed all the fair foods Aunt Cissy’s is providing since there will be no state fair this year! Every single Saturday until the end of October you can find some of this ~
