We came for a business lunch and the service was great! The BBQ is pretty good. I highly recommend the green beans. They’re perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The prices are pretty typical for BBQ. My brisket plate was about $14.

After a morning at the zoo we decided to hop into this bbq joint and enjoy some bbq. It was quiet and mellow and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, and my husband got the brisket sandwich. Half of the pulled pork was tough, but other than that, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The fries were amazing and complimented the meal so well. Sweet side on the bbq sauce. Staff was friendly.

Minus the detours and construction in this area, the BBQ is definitely worth it! Loved the service here – the men in the back were awesome and extremely friendly. The brisket was flavorful and paired very well with the creamed corn. So glad Augie’s is one of the few BBQ places in San Antonio that actually has creamed corn on their menu! Will definitely be coming back!

Told the chef it was my first time trying a texas road house as i was visiting family from cali and he cooked up the juciest steak iv tried so far. Quality and quantity was on point. Definately recommened and coming back 🙂

Great customer service, the lady at the cash register was very friendly and helpful. Another employee was circling and making sure we had everything needed. The food was great. I had the ribs, very good. The green beans weren’t canned. Fries are really good.

Good place for BBQ for a quick bite to eat. You order at the counter and it’s delivered to your table. Food was made available quickly. The pulled pork and chicken was very delicious with the BBQ sauce. The mac and cheese was very tasty. The Borracho beans were very flavorful with a bit of a spicy kick. Two or three meat combos is the way to go. Prices are reasonable. Enjoy!

I highly recommend Augie’s BBQ Steakhouse!!! From walking in the cleanness was a 10 the service was a 10 and the response on getting the food out was fast! WTH did I just eat? I hope people don’t think THAT is what barbecue is supposed to taste like! That’s the sorriest excuse for barbecue I’ve ever had! Brisket and white meat chicken had no flavor and can someone please explain to me how you can make pecan pie taste NOTHING like a pecan pie? Now I know why there was no cars in the parking lot when I pulled in. This place is a sorry excuse for a barbecue joint. What dish would I recommend? Stay the F away from here is my recommendation!
