The bad reviews here must have all happened in the same day…..I eat here all the time and so do a lot of friends. The parking lot is often full and I would think that a restaurant with bad reviews wouldn’t be full as often as it is. The menu has a lot of the old favorites like steak and chicken but often the specials are creative. No one has a better house salad and overall prices fit the food. They have a lot of longtime employees and the few times there was a problem with my food the managers took care of it immediately…even met a couple from another state that passes through the area often and always makes the Farragut Aubrey’s a stopping place to eat on the road. When I have company in from out of town we almost always go there as time allows…..no one has had a bad experience. We all know a place can have a bad day but as often as some friends and I go we would be eating elsewhere if it was that bad.

Stopped in on a road trip. Was glad to see they are open late. I hate eating alone, so it was very appreciated that my server Fritschi took the time to make small talk with me. The food was 4/5. They felt that they hadn’t given me enough fries, so brought me another plate. Without asking, the server brought a sweat tea refill and a roll for the road. I was camping that night, so both were enjoyed the following morning.

We had to wait quite a while for a fairly basic order. Waiter didn’t seem to have any sense of, “hey, these people are on lunch…I need to get things taken care of and get them out the door.” Food was OK, but nothing grand. Probably won’t come back.
