Since 1999 Atwater’s has been making traditional food crafted by hand. We began in a small bakery making only one kind of bread and grew to our current Baltimore shops that specialize in soup, sandwiches, salad, cheese, coffee, Scottish pies, jam, and more! As we continue to grow, our commitment to quality food and service remains the same. You can find our fine foods at our locations and markets across the Baltimore-Washington area.

Love the place for breakfast, but the lunch sandwiches present a very real value issue when looking at cost to portions. For $17, I would hope that my sandwich is big enough to fix my hunger! Not enough filling, too short of bread. Tasty, but VERY expensive for the portion.

Just visited this place today and it’s really good, the mocha latte is great if you’re looking for a drink with a bit of flavor. Otherwise I’d suggest a regular coffee. I ate the hometown breakfast and it was delicious. Their jam was sweet and tastes like the Amish jam I usually eat. Service is good, not luxurious, but good! Great place to go and eat and hang with the fam.

I stopped in for brunch one morning with a friend. The place was steady, and still, there was plenty of parking and seating available.

If you’re craving delicious, fresh, comforting food..this is your spot. Atwater’s has been my go-to for years. Yes, they’re known around town for their soup and bread…and for good reason! It’s the best! You’re not going to get processed food here. This is ‘grandma made it’ level comfort food. I hesitate to mention their brownies because I want them all for myself. Lol. That’s true for the banana nut muffins and black bottom muffins as well. Honestly you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. I advise to buy two of everything because you’ll want another one tomorrow.

The food is superb and the coffee is even better. I got a lavender latte which looked as tasty as it was. I also got a bacon and egg biscuit which is always top tier. The staff are friendly and the cafe is extremely clean. So far the catonsville and Boston street Atwaters have continued to be exceptional experiences for my partner and I. This place is worth a stop.

Atwaters is a well known entity around the city and this location is no different. Imagine a much nicer panera with more of a focus on local and coffee. Keep in mind that the price reflects this but the food and drinks are worth it. I really enjoy the art and things for sale in this particular atwaters.

I don’t know how but Atwater’s was able to mess up drip coffee, which tasted watery and extremely bitter. I mean, HOW can you mess up drip coffee?! Additionally, little to no milk was added. I mean, I get it, dairy is the most costly part of making coffee but when you’re charging $3.50 for drip coffee, there’s no excuse… especially for a small cup as pictured. I don’t know what all the hype is with Atwater’s but I will not be coming back.
