Atria’s Restaurant – Peters Township

  4.2 – 613 reviews  $$ • American restaurant

Serving Pittsburghers since 1930. Whether you’re enjoying our food at our restaurant, at home, or at a wedding — Atria’s makes it Good to Be Here. The original Atria’s in Mt. Lebanon was owned by Italian immigrant Joe Atria and dates to 1930. It began as a grocery store, then expanded into a barbershop and dry cleaners. In 1933 prohibition ended and Atria’s began to sell beer. Along came food to feed the hungry — both highbrow attorneys and blue-collar working men alike. In 1998, Pittsburgh natives Pat and Nancy McDonnell transformed Joe Atria’s historical Mt. Lebanon landmark into an upscale casual restaurant that today serves up American classics in neighborhoods all around the Greater Pittsburgh Area

Kid-friendly local chain branch serving a variety of American dishes, plus pasta meals.

The bridal shower I held for my daughter couldn’t have be nicer at Atria’s. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the room worked out beautifully. I would be amiss if I did not mention the event coordinator, Angel, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect!

Lots of variety on the menu- burgers and wraps to Italian pastas! I have been here several times with a larger group of 6-7 people and the waitstaff has always been very accommodating with great service. Food is good and the atmosphere is nice.

We went there for the first time on August 25, 2023. We arrived around 4:00 PM. We had frequented other Atria’s previously with good experiences! Both of us ordered chicken parmigiana on a layer of pasta and toast. The chicken on both orders was badly burnt as was the toast on one of the orders.

I would not recommend. I was there Monday around 6 and the place was fairly busy. My party of 3 were seated promptly. The server was very busy and was very kind. The kitchen staff were walking through the restaurant asking customers how things were. I would rather the cooks stay in the kitchen and pay more attention to the meals they are preparing. I have not been to this place before and we heard the crab bisque was great. Unfortunately the soup was way to salty and my first spoonful was a jolt! Between the salt or soup base and the overpowering taste of liquor it was an unpleasant experience. The Brussel sprouts were very good. The burger sliders were good. The fries were barely warm. I expect that from the drive through but not from a dine in experience. Worst of all were the burger sliders that were served to my child. She would not eat them. I lifted the buns and found a completely charred mini hockey pack with bits of burnt meat all over the buns. The server kindly took these off our bill. I would not return.

I recently had a surprise birthday party for my wife in the private dining room and it went flawlessly. From the first meeting to coordinate the event until the evening was over it was beyond our expectations. A special shout-out to Angel, the event coordinator. She went over and above what was expected. Although we had a balloon arch, Angel took it upon herself to order additional balloons for the room and even ran to the dollar store when we were decorating to pickup a backer board for our birthday sign that we had needed. The food was spectacular as well as the servers accommodating our every need and request. Thanks to Angel & team for a truly memorable event! I would highly recommend Atria’s for your next special event!!!

Great food, atmosphere, good beer selection and Oktoberfest! I really enjoy my time here every time I go. The bar area is really nice as I sit there every time I go. Well lit both day and night, comfortable is my way of describing it. Their WiFi password is atriaspet1

Nice variety of dishes to get something a little different. The portions are large. We walked in on Christmas Eve and got seated right way, but waited longer than normal for our appetizer, drinks and meal. It’s a bit pricey, but you can see where your money is on the plate.
