Ordered the chicken salad sandwich with a side salad & it was freaking amazing! The ranch dressing is made in house & one of the best I’ve ever tried. If you’re ever in the vicinity, this place is a must stop! The staff is super friendly. Loved the country music playing too.

I ordered the ribeye steak. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare and seasoned well. We got the appetizer sampler. Very yummy unhealthy fried food! Husband really liked his shrimp scampi (it is only 10 shrimp no pasta) he said the shrimp was not over cooked and had good flavor. The kids meal came with a ton of food. Overall great food and a good atmosphere. I know the owners are running the grill and having to wait tables so sometimes it might be a a wait. We got there right at 5pm so we had no wait.

I was pleased with the amount of food –especially with the full chicken fried steak. It came with a decent portion of mash potatoes and gravy, fried okra- some didn’t make the plate, cottage cheese and a slice of chocolate and peanut butter pie after taxes for 18.00.. I added the green onion. The staff was great, a little chaotic with the last minute orders, they did their best. Great setting for polite people, not for kids getting out of hand. It’s a small place with some cool pictures. On one picture I took , I thought, this is definitely Down home cooking- and it is.

Heard about this little Cafe thru word of mouth. It’s kinda in the middle of nowhere, but worth the drive! We had cheeseburgers with curly fries and real, handcut onion rings. Those onion rings are the bomb. We also shared a slice of chocolate cream pie. Delectable! All their food is homemade and fresh. Even though it’s out of the way, we’ll visit on our next trip to Kansas.

This cafe should be a destination for anyone looking for a great chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, white gravy and choice of vegetable. The fried okra was so good I could have happily made a meal of it alone. Generous portions. I had a half order and took part of that home for supper.

Chicken fried stake was awesome! Big as the plate! I had already ate about 1/4 of it in the pic. Wife had the open faced roast beef, she said it was really good. She brought home 1/2 of it! She had the peanut butter cream pie and it was fresh and good!
