Nothing bad to say about this place. Great little restaurant/tavern in the middle of downtown Delaware. Was out looking for a place to sit with the dogs outside, and even though there was no one else on their patio at 1:30pm on a chilly Tuesday, they were still
more than happen to accommodate us.

Menu is short and concise, with semi-elevated bar food, and still good tavern classics. Pimento dip was awesome. Giant pretzel came with one of the best kinds of beer cheese. Portions were awesome and prices were extremely reasonable. I’m also not a big fan of most tiny breweries, but all of the beer I tried from them must’ve been catered just to me because I loved both of them lol.

The food isn’t anything over the top crazy, but everything about this place is really solid, so definitely 5 stars cause I can’t think of any reason not to keep going back.

Fantastic Lunch Experience!
5 of us enjoyed a fantastic lunch on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was busy but we were greeted & seated quickly. I will also add that drink orders and food came quickly as well (impressive considering they were fairly busy).
The food quality was outstanding!! The ham and bean soup alone was worth the drive from Atlanta! I had the salmon as my entree and it was one of the best I’ve ever had.
Finally,…..the service was also outstanding. I think our server might have been a manager or the owner. She could not have been any more pleasant and engaging!
Overall….a wonderful experience. Looking forward to returning!!

This place could be a very good place to eat when you walk into the restaurant. It’s set up. Very nice but the service was so slow. The waitresses didn’t even want to come over and help anybody with their food or order. My husband and I ordered our food. Finally, it took about almost 30 minutes to get the food. My husband ordered the pulled pork. There was no meat. Well hardly any meat. It was filled with vegetables. I ordered the chicken with the peanut sauce. It was the worst meal I have ever tried. I couldn’t eat. The rice was so bad. The vegetables were way too spicy and the peanut sauce that they poured on top of it ruined the whole thing. It tasted like they put ground coffee in with the peanuts sauce. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was so so bad. My waitress took off and didn’t even see her. After I told her about the meal being icky I had to get another person to come and take our receipt. Finally, nobody came to get our credit card for the meal so we paid with cash and left. It’s sad because it could be a very, very good place. Change your menu and get new waitresses very very disappointed. I wish I could give it a no star because I would definitely do that

Great downtown restaurant with a nice menu. I have the salad and sandwich lunch special. It was very good but the chicken salad croissant could have used a better croissant. Mine was stale and hard. Everything else I had was excellent and I particularly like the squirrel nut Brown beer.

Nice little pub with good options. Scheduled reservations and no wait.

Got dill chips, brussels, and salmon. Fellow diner got fish and chips.

The dill chips is pretty good, albeit very heavy. It’s lays-style chips (I don’t think they’re seratoga or house made) dusted with dill seasoning which is good. The dip is, I believe, a cream cheese- based dip with big pieces of onion. Love the onion, but there were some pretty massive chonks of cream cheese to chop up.

The brussels were interesting, also very rich and sweet. I did get a miso-heavy bite and I really liked it.

The salmon was cooked well, and its served atop a bed of incredibly heavy, creamy risotto. The sauce is great!

We did order too mich food – portion sizes are good here. But I will say they make food you can anchor a boat with!

I would say this is a solid local pub with reliable food that is just adventurous enough to still be traditional. Wasnt bad – recommend for large portions, heavy dishes and house-made brews. Oh, and love of dogs.

Went up to Delaware to visit a friend and had dinner at the Brewhouse. I didn’t realize downtown Delaware had so much. This place was great. Service was attentive, food came out just the way it was expected and in a timely manner. Saw that they partnered with some local places for some of their menu items which is super cool. Both of the beers i tried where delicious. It’s definitely a cool little spot. It really felt like a family environment. I was told their Chef’s new menu comes out soon so I will definitely be back to try that.

This was a great place to eat. A group of us guys got together to hang out for the evening, and we chose the Dog House at Brewery. The food was really good—served hot and in a timely manner. Their beer selection was solid too, and honestly better than I expected.
Our server did an excellent job. She struck the perfect balance of being there when we needed her without hovering or being pushy. She gave us space to talk and catch up.
The dining room had a moderate noise level, but we could still understand each other easily. I have some hearing difficulty, and I could still carry a conversation without much trouble. The only downside was the seating—the chairs weren’t very comfortable, though still tolerable.
They also have an outdoor patio dining area, and I’m really looking forward to coming back in the summer to try that out.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d be happy to come back. The only thing I’d recommend is planning ahead for parking if you’re not familiar with the area. It took me several minutes to figure out where to go, and since we were there on a Friday evening, everything was busy. Give yourself a 15–20 minute cushion to find a spot. There is free public parking north of the brewery during certain hours, so check into that before you go.

Came here with the wife for lunch and really enjoyed it. Cool little place, and the beer selection was nice. Service was great and food was very good. Wings had good flavor and got alot. Nachos were bigger than we thought and we weren’t able to eat them all. We will have to try and come back on the weekend or at night.

**Edit** Our second visit was even better than the first. Truly great food and service at reasonable prices. They have the best fries in Delaware.

We visited a few weeks ago on a weeknight. The food was excellent. I ordered a salad with steak and my husband ordered a burger. The meat was cooked as ordered and high-quality. The service was excellent. The restaurant was clean, cozy, nicely decorated, and had well-maintained bathrooms. Great experience and we will definitely return.
