Reviews
Food:
Miso Soup (3.5/5): Hot and comforting. Nothing special, but solid.
Seaweed Salad (3/5): Fine and fresh, but pretty average.
Sake Nigiri (3/5): Okay, but a bit heavy on the rice compared to the fish.
Grilled Steak Roll (3/5): Steak, avocado, and cheese. It was fine, but the cheese flavor was too strong and there was too much rice, which took over the bite.
Seared Salmon (5/5): Wow. This was the highlight of the meal. Very tender, perfectly seared, and full of flavor. This alone is a reason to come here.
Smoked Salmon (3.5/5): Good and nicely balanced, with fish that was not too thick and a decent amount of rice.
Edamame (3.5/5): Beans were good inside, though the pods were a bit firm and cooler than expected.
Service:
Friendly and helpful, always with a smile.
Ambiance:
Small cafeteria-style setting with rotating sushi on a conveyor belt. Simple, casual, and good for a quick meal.
Overall, some items were just okay, but the seared salmon really stood out and made the visit worthwhile. I would come back for that and try a few other plates.
The highlight for me was the Naruto Roll—a fresh, flavorful combination of tuna, salmon, kani, and avocado, all wrapped in crisp cucumber instead of rice. It was light, refreshing, and packed with great texture and taste.
If you’re looking for delicious sushi on a budget with top-notch service, this place is a must-try!
So many options and I love that they have photos of the rolls that you can order that move along the track.
Because of this, I ordered things I have never had before because they looked good.
The servers were flustered but they were quite busy so I can forgive it.
Reasonable prices.
Overall it was great and we will go back!
I like that you can see the photos of the rolls that you can order. The servers were very polite and ready to help you with your order.
Very reasonable prices.
I ordered seared salmon and watched them microwave it then lightly sear the top… what did it taste like? Microwaved fish (gross!). They did this to the people sitting across from me as well. By the time I left the whole restaurant smelled like microwaved fish. It was truly disgusting and I do not know if I will ever return.
Be careful to not go on days where there is no management.
The quality? Surprisingly good for the price. Everything tasted fresh, and you can tell they keep the rotation moving so nothing sits too long. The touch screen ordering system is easy to use if you want something specific made to order, and it comes out lightning fast.
The atmosphere is clean and modern, with a chill, casual energy that makes it great for dates, solo meals, or quick bites with friends. Prices are color-coded by plate and totally reasonable, so you can indulge without breaking the bank.
When I removed the plastic lid from my creamy scallops, the smell was very fishy and the sauce was chunky, so I chose not to eat it. The fried calamari was lukewarm and soggy, and the seared salmon tasted like it was store-bought rather than freshly prepared.
My younger brother ate his meal, and later that evening he ended up throwing up. I feel terrible for having taken him there. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise against eating here, especially any raw items. The sushi also looked old, and I would not recommend this restaurant.
All the sushi tasted essentially the same; that’s likely because pretty much everything was like a variation of a California roll, imitation crab meat being the main base meat. The spicy tuna was a little darker and slightly warm… slightly scary. All of the rolls that I tried also tasted like they had 30% mayo to them, which was kinda gross. But again, for the price, I wasn’t expecting too much. This would be a great place when you are craving sushi but are in college or just a little tight on funds. Nothing wrong with that by any means. But the thing that kinda bugged me was the dessert. I ordered a tempura ice cream. Well… lo and behold… I think I got maybe a teaspoon of ice cream in a ball that was as big as the plate! Sooo disappointed! Maybe about an inch of dough around it, a VERY thin layer of panko (the “tempura” part) and a bunch of whipped cream and chocolate syrup. I literally thought I would be happy with this since it’s hard to mess up and can be done on a budget easily. But nope! I tried to get the ice cream out of it, but really couldn’t find much. Just a hollow ball. If it had a nice ball of ice cream in it, I think I wouldn’t had cared about the foam pillow of bread/cake that surrounded it. But was literally hollow.
Anyway. The people working here were nice. I wouldn’t go back, personally… but I would still recommend it if you are on a tight budget and are crashing sushi. Or if you have the munchies (it is Oregon and all 🙂 )
