We have gone to this location (near Lincoln Rd and Division) for Dine-in at the Grand Opening as well as Take-Out for Dinner on Tuesdays. The Staffs are always cheerful and helpful -which makes the take-out window conversation pleasant and occasionally funny while waiting for your food. This review pertains to the most recent meal, which was Take-Out.
The Tuesday we went to Atilano’s was -again- Taco Tuesday, Extraordinary Prices for Extraordinary foods. These are NOT your Cousin’s Tacos. These may very well be your Nana’s Recipe. This first little gem, is a Tripa taco. The delicately crunchy deliciousness just SENDS YOU! Your eyes close, your mouth waters… and then the finely diced onions fill your senses with sweetness and cilantro.
In the To-Go box are also three Lengua Tacos. So delectable, juicy, and tender, there’s no other taste quite like them. Onions and Cilantro finish the dish with style.

Food taste was good. I ordered 2 quesabirrias the first time and they literally just put like a spoon full of meat. I spent around 9 dollars and I was still hungry so I decided to go and order a second order thinking maybe they were in a hurry and this time they will put meat in it, Wrong! This always happens at night. Different time it was alpastor and it was the same story like they measured it with a table spoon per taco

Attention to the restaurant manager:
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your location around 11:30 PM 07/21/2025. I asked for a Coke with my meal when placing my order, but the employee who took my order told me to pull forward and wait with acknowledging the drink request.
After waiting several minutes, she brought out my food without the drink. When I reminded her that I had asked for a Coke, she abruptly reached into my vehicle to grab my receipt and told me I had not paid for a drink—without any courtesy or explanation. I calmly let her know that I had asked for the drink twice and offered to pay again with my card. However, she rudely refused to help and told me I would need to either come inside or go back through the drive-thru.
This was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I left without my drink, disappointed by the lack of basic customer service. Unfortunately, when I got home and opened my food, the fish was extremely dry and broken apart—far from the quality I’m used to receiving at other locations when I order mojarra. The fish appear to be old and refried as most of it was dried. There were only a few pieces seemed to be semi tender but the rest of the first was way to dried and there was not meat.
The behavior of the staff member and the poor quality of the food are not what I expect from your establishment. I respectfully ask that you review this employee’s conduct and provide proper customer service training. I do not plan on returning to this location while this employee remains unless corrective action is taken.

I had the WORST experience last night around 1 am picking up a DoorDash order. I used the bathroom while waiting because the order was still being prepared so first, I opened the WOMENS bathroom door to see a MALE employee just standing there and I said “you do realize this is the women’s restroom right?” His response was “Yep.” And he walked out as I went in, but in the middle of me using the restroom, this SAME MALE employee opened the bathroom door and stood there staring at me for a good 5-10 seconds before he shut the door. I have never felt so violated by a restaurant worker in my life. Watch out for this guy he’s the only skinny guy I saw there, he has a goatee & black short hair. (Works nights) DISGUSTING!

Love the Lengua, so tender and flavorful. I occasionally grab a meal but the special tacos are my go to especially for the price. Employees are always polite and the place is super nice, tvs everywhere definitely a modern taco spot compared to most other Atilanos.

I would give this place alongside of many other Mexican food restaurants here in Spokane a zero star if I could. This place does not serve fresh food. You are basically getting their leftover meat and other things,beans that have been made days prior to serving. I was served cold food and that tells me everything I need to know about this place. I wouldn’t spend another dollar in this establishment if I was anybody. It doesn’t matter how good you think the food tastes, they’re serving you leftovers and cold food. Hey altiano’s. This isn’t your private home kitchen where you can serve leftovers to your family. We expect hot fresh food
