Who uses fake yellow cheese wrapped in plastic for their omelets And slaps one on top??? They do!!! Way Under cooked home fries that taste like they came straight out of a can…then we see a small sign no credit/debit cards had to go next door to use an ATM. I have never left a breakfast place hungry like I did today!!! Thank goodness we’re only passing through!!!

Another nice little diner in the Northern Finger Lakes area. They have been operating in Phelps for a long time. Typical diner comfort food, so far everything we have had there was very tasty. The waitstaff is friendly and very attentive. The only drawback is they are cash only. On weekends they only serve breakfast.

Be cautioned, they don’t accept debit or credit cards. NOT A GOOD POLICY. They don’t tell you this at first, there’s a small sign far from the entrance. They just tell you there’s an ATM down the street. RIDICULOUS. We were prepared to have a large breakfast for a group. No one had cash so we ended up with water and coffee. We would have been fine paying the 4%. THEY SHOULD PASS ON THE BANK FEES TO CUSTOMERS BY RAISING PRICES OR ADD IT TO THE TAB!!
It’s ugly inside and very dated. somewhere in the 80’s. Sun faded photos and motel art. Tacky plastic booths and weird houseplants in the window.

I just stopped here with my partner and our son. I really had to use the bathroom so my partner dropped me off in front and then went to park. When I went inside I was “greeted” by a very rude woman who said “that’s not a public restroom.” I can’t speak to the quality of the food because after being treated so disrespectfully we decided to eat elsewhere. If you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere this is not the place to go.

Decent food absolutely horrible business. The cook smiled but the server was unkind and miserable.
We will never go back. Never had such horrible service. We couldn’t even request more creamer for our coffee or for additional napkins.
Sometimes we have bad days but this woman was downright miserable.

If I could give zero stars I would. The customer service is absolutely trash. I order eggs and the eggs were still raw. The serve never once greeted my table no nothing. All she wanted to do was stand around n watch the TV. The proceeded to talk bad about my complant to ANOTHER TABLE. Like really I won’t be back.

I visited this place while on a road trip, and had a nice time. The service wasn’t so professional, but the homestyle cooking was very good, like grandma away from home. And the mozzerella sticks- definitely the best mozzerella sticks I’ve ever tasted.

I just couldn’t find anything appealing on your menu. The chicken cordon blue wasn’t very good. The waitress seemed kind of pushy and not very courteous. I also was not offered a refill on my drink even though my glass sat empty at the edge of the table for half the meal. They are also cash only. We were just passing through your area and wanted to try you out. Sorry, but we wont be returning.

Literally, just left Astoria to go to the restaurant 4 minutes down the road because of the unprofessional service received here today! My fiance and I were heading out for lunch and decided to stop in to this establishment. Not one customer was in the restaurant and I do not wonder why. After we placed our order the older lady behind the counter told our waitress “I just tell them there is a restaurant 4 minutes up the road to get rid of them!”
Well, she got what she wanted and we will not go back!!
