First visit to Aspen’s. We were the only ones there on a Sunday around noon. The atmosphere is awesome. Super beautiful old church building, turned into a ski lodge vibe. All the food we ordered was incredible! Started off with a Wedge Salad, Ceaser Salad and Calamari. For our entrees we got the Lobster Truffle Mac and Cheese, and the Cajun Pasta. Freaking delicious! I also had a spicy Bloody Mary from the bar that was excellent. Our service was top notch. Very, very happy and we’ll be returning again.

We enjoyed the Colorado Aspen theme/atmosphere. It’s a comfortable relaxing lounge and restaurant. The staff were attentive and courteous. My mother had the lobster club which was excellent and we loved the french fries. I had the cajun pasta. This is where I give it a four star review. The Cajun pasta was good, however I anticipated it to have some kick or spice to it but it did not. In that case it would have been nice to have some optional spices on the side for those who like their Cajun hot. Additionally, I anticipated a larger serving size when paying $18 for a pasta dish. That being said, their was nothing wrong with the dish. It was good, just not what I expected. The french fries and lobster club where wonderful. I recommend the restaurant and would like to visit again.

We were hopeful but so incredibly disappointed 🙁 Walking up the stairs into the main entrance we were hit with a unique atmosphere – an Aspen CO ski restaurant is how we described it. Many fun decorations and quite spacious seating areas. It was upscale but casual. The main dining area had three very large TVs. The staff were warm and attentive. We ordered the bang bang shrimp – (DELICIOUS) and the jalapeño poppers. Our poppers didn’t arrive with the shrimp because they were evidently unavailable so we replaced them with meatballs. Boy were they huge but UGH they were cold on the inside. They were returned to the kitchen and were later brought out with our entrees which included the Cajun pasta, fish and chips and short rib pasta. The pasta dishes were BOTH watery – we needed spoons to slurp the sauce. Good flavor but drinking the pasta dishes really made for an interesting meal and not so lovely presentation of etiquette. The largest disappointment was the cod meal. It really should have been listed ’chips with a little fish’ – the vast majority of the platter was the fries. The small pieces of fish were breaded thinly. This was not worth the price or the calories. After it was all said and done, our bill was over $100 after tax. And before you even assume how many drinks were ordered…there were three waters and two NA beers. What’s sad is that the meatballs should have been taken off our bill and despite them asking how the main entrees were, it was almost embarrassing to point out the obvious small filets and very watery pasta dishes. How could they serve it that way? Just bringing the pasta dishes to the table and laying them down from the server tray, the sauce (juice) almost ran over the rim of the bowls onto the table. It was a unanimous “4 out of 10 stars”. I hate to say this but this place needs to figure out what it needs to do to serve edible food before it’s too late. I want to give this place a second chance but will wait for them to be open a little while longer so they can work out the kinks.

I happened to I take my husband to Aspen’s restaurant for a birthday lunch on Monday because we passed it and it looked like a place we would enjoy. The Bang Bang Shrimp was the best I’ve ever had because it highlighted the shrimp and not the sauce! We shared the wedge salad and fish and chips. The dressing for the wedge was so tasty and the crispy fish kept me wanting more! Shane, the bartender was attentive and friendly who made sure we had what we needed. Stephanie, the manager, and her husband Shane were so welcoming and informative about their place. Children are welcome with a game corner and play toys for the table. They also have live music to enjoy. My husband and I highly recommend this place for the staff, atmosphere, and food! Please give it a try because you won’t be disappointed.

Just came here for the first time, they have some greats unique dishes, some very unique decor. It has its own special vibe, you could call it blue. They have done a great job creating a different sort of space that anything else you can find in the area, and a great assortment of more high end menu items than most of the places around here. Definitely come give it a shot! They have been open for less than a year and would love to see more new faces!

We happened upon during a soft opening. There were some definite kinks, but this place has so much potential. Most importantly, it’s gorgeous inside! We had a very nice and talkative server, who was excited for the re-opening (under new ownership). We each had a cocktail and split appetizer (calamari), main (crispy honey chicken sandwich) and dessert (creme brulee with cookie and ice cream). The bar area has plenty of seating, there’s a main dining area of about the same size, a private room seating about eight, and then the back area offers two more tables. There’s outdoor seating and fun yard game area. (It was raining the day of our visit.) Restrooms’ accessibility I’m unsure about as I took some stairs to get to them, but the stall is accessible. I think via the back is an accessible entrance into the restaurant and therefore the restroom but I am not completely sure. Restrooms are gender specific. There’s a dedicated parking lot with plenty of parking. Right now the bar menu is limited. The main menu is on the small side, but there’s plenty of options for most tastes. Overall, I adore the vibe in here. Excited to give it another try.

Incredible restaurant with fantastic staff and owners. Had one of the best meals I ever had and the service was impeccable! Also great atmosphere since most of the Kansas City Chiefs fans stay away. Highly recommended.

Staff was very kind here. I never was able to go to Dior so I’m unsure on some comparisons here. The lighting is good and furniture and decor is nice.
