Asian Potato became a family-favorite after we discovered this hidden gem a few years ago. It’s a low key and chill atmosphere, and the service is usually good.

The best thing on the menu, bar none, is the orange flavor chicken. It’s unlike any orange chicken you’ve had, and I urge you to treat your taste buds to this citrus-flavored dish. The Pineapple Massaman Curry Lo Mein is also fantastic (and a mouthful to say)! The pot stickers and fried shrimp are good appetizers, and comparable to other Asian restaurants. The ham fried rice is an excellent side dish. I wasn’t a fan of the Bejing beef as a standalone (too spicy over time), but it would be good as a shared entree with three or four people. I also didn’t care for the Mongolian beef. The waitress warned us, but it’s an absurd amount of onions compared to beef. I also didn’t care for the flavors. In general, I pass on the beef dishes here.

It’s a smaller dining room, but we’ve never struggled to get a table. The bathrooms are in the back behind the curtain. Parking is shared in the strip, and it can be pretty crammed, so exercise caution while navigating through. If nothing else, the dance studio tends to have available spots when they’re closed for the day. I absolutely love Asian Potato and will continue coming back!

This was our first time at Asian Potato, it’s a Thai Chinese fusion place. We got the egg fried rice, sesame chicken and the Tom Kah Gai soup and the portions were so generous we had leftovers! We would definitely eat here again! Unique but delicious flavors!

Delicious, satisfying and very filling dinner.
Food were served hot in reasonable time, the host was very welcoming and accomodating. The place is just a little dated and probably need some upkeeping but overall clean.

My Yellow Curry with Chicken was delicious. Generous portion with rice.
We also ordered the Bo Bo Party Plate. Very dissatisfied. It hardly looked like the photos that the restaurant posted.
The atmosphere was also very disappointing. Big open, cold feeling, unwelcoming with an echo when we talked. There appears to be storage in the room where patrons sit to eat. Dirty feeling.
The service was lacking. Nothing was offered other than a refill on the water. No soy sauce, or other condiments and seasonings.
We won’t return.
Menu items look very different from what we were served.

I ordered the eggplant. I really think it was microwaved because ate 15 min it was still very hot almost inedible. There was also no flavor (wheres the garlic) and lots of grease. Added rice to cool it down. Did not work. They took it off the bill. The staff was really nice. It was clean in the restaurant. General Taos had a good flavor but wasn’t very crispy. Used 3 paper towels. Portion size was amazing.

Food quality was good, though the Pad Thai didn’t seem authentic to me. The chef specialty Crispy fried chicken was nicely fried and spiced. Prices seemed slightly on the higher side for Chinese food but the ambiance was also nicer than the traditional hole in the wall.

First time here. Absolutely loved it. We got there just before their dinner rush. Totes happy about that. First the service was great. Our waiter did a fantastic job if explaining what we’re their best dishes. We tried the General Tao’s chicken. That was my fav. The Walnut shrimp was great. It’s been a long time since we found a place that did it right. The kung Pao was pretty good too. The orange was great also. All four of us were totally happy with our meals.

We had a big family meal here. The curry was good and the staff were so nice, but the walnut shrimp and pineapple chicken were to die for!! Excellent!

I LOVE this restaurant. I’m quickly becoming a regular here. The waitress is always so genuine, warm, and welcoming. The food is fantastic and the ham fried rice is the best I’ve ever found. My boyfriend and I always get an order of fried rice, spicy Beijing beef, and pick a second entre by random or by recommendation and we have NEVER been disappointed or not liked a dish.

I found this place for take out in the early part of COVID, then moved to a different city. We made it back tonight and I was reminded of just how good and tasty their food is. It definitely outshines the simple establishment and location it is in. Well worth finding it!
