I ordered the Shrimp Chow Mein via mobile order, expecting the standard stir-fried noodles. However, the dish provided looks more like a container of steamed vegetables and shrimp in a light sauce, a side of white rice, and a small bag of crispy ‘Chow Mein’ noodles (which look more like wonton strips).
The website lacks photos, which makes the ordering process very misleading if you aren’t familiar with this specific style of Chow Mein. If you are looking for soft, stir-fried noodles, you might want to double-check the menu or look for ‘Lo Mein’ instead. Be careful when ordering online.
“Chow mein” is a transliteration of 炒面, chǎomiàn, which directly translates to ‘fried noodles’ in English.

I’m a food snob and will only give a place one chance before I move on. I’ve been back maybe, 5-6 times and every dish I’ve tried has been amazing. They don’t add the nasty frozen vegetables to the egg drop soup or the fried rice which is a plus in my book. The order comes out in less than 10. The guy that works the counter even remembered that I like my food extra spicy on my second visit! I love this place!

I’m from NYC, grew up on Chinese food, and very critical of restaurants in general. The Asian Cafe Chantilly is an outstandingly excellent restaurant. The quality of the food is uniformly the very best I’ve had, and the service is highly responsive, flexible, and professional. I very strongly recommend the Asian Cafe Chantilly. It’s actually worth a long drive if you live far away, that’s how great this place is.

My go-to Chinese place! I especially love this place because the sauces are clearly homemade, not bottled. The take out hibachi is really good and the lunch special value can NOT be beat!! I recommend it to all my friends. Atmosphere gets 3 stars since it’s really just a take out place, so it’s not really meant to be an experience.

This place has potential. I had Orange Chicken, Egg Roll, and Fried Wontons.
Fried Wontons had a good amount of meat. The wrapping needs to be thicker. That would make it Great, but “as is” it is still very good.
Egg roll wrapping was great. The filling was Good, but it needs some meat like roast pork just like they make it in NYC. They are pretty good as well.
Orange Chicken is a Must Have. Definitely, one of the best orange chicken I ever had. Not on the menu, you need to order it directly. Highly recommend.
Pricing was average.
I was reading other reviews and people we stating that food is not consistently good. I order again some other time to verify.
Ordered again. I recommend the Mongolian beef. The tofu with mixed vegetables is not that good.

Very solid food here! The delivery person was the loveliest man with a big smile and many thanks. I’m in town for a short bit and took a shot on this place. It would definitely be my regular go to if I lived here. Had the shrimp spring rolls (nice and crispy), Mongolian beef (great flavor), side of mixed veg, and a small veg lo mein. All of the vegetables were perfectly tender crisp with satisfying crunch! Thanks for the delicious food, great service, and ample sauces!
