My grandmother is 95 years old and lives in Green Tree. She receives Meals on Wheels and occasionally cooks for herself, but she doesn’t get to eat out often. When family visits, she loves to treat us to something simple that we can all share together.

A few weeks ago, I visited with my parents and my one-year-old daughter. My grandmother had a coupon for Jersey Mike’s (buy two giant subs, get one free) and was excited to use it so she could treat all of us to lunch. When I brought the coupon in, it didn’t list the Green Tree location, and initially I was told it likely couldn’t be honored.

Manager Chris stepped in, reviewed the coupon, and although this location typically wouldn’t accept it, he chose to honor it so we could enjoy lunch together. He took the time to ask about my grandmother and genuinely cared about making it a positive experience. I overheard him coaching his team about creating great customer moments in instances like this. That level of leadership and kindness is rare.

My grandmother — who was born during the Great Depression and loves a good deal — was absolutely over the moon. We had a wonderful lunch together, and it meant more than just sandwiches.

This location is always clean, the sandwiches are consistently fantastic, and service is quick. We will absolutely continue coming back. Thank you, Chris, for going above and beyond. It truly made our day.

Today was the first time at jersey Mike’s. I went in and ordered in person. The employees at the store were all very polite and professional. It took about ten minutes to order and receive my food. I got an Italian hoagie and it was the best sandwich I have eaten in a long time. My husband got a ham and provolone. He does not like anything but mayo on his sandwiches and that is how his sandwich was made. The store was very clean and neat.

Chris is downright rude. Immediately asked my wife if I was always this loud then proceeded to glare at us for ordering. The ladies working with him were wonderful. They made the perfect sub. Kind and friendly. She even had to tell Chris to stop being rude. Will not return here

The older gentleman that is the floor manager, immediately started making political comments with me. Asking me my views on ice. And when I told him my views, he became very upset it would not stop with the political banter. Buddy, I am just here to get food. I do not need harassed.

This was the second and likely last time I’ll visit this location. I like to think I’m not a difficult customer and I don’t have exceptionally high standards. My first visit here several months ago, I ordered online. When I went to pick up my order, I left my phone in the car and just ran in to grab my food. I was met with quite the attitude because I didn’t have proof for the order I was picking up. I have never needed to show proof to pick up a mobile order at ANY other establishment. I went out and got my phone so I could complete the pick up. I had left a tip on that order and I 100% would not have tipped if I had known I would be met with such an attitude.

Fast forward to today, I decided to try Jersey Mike’s again. I went in to order and the guy that took my order didn’t even acknowledge me. He just looked at me. I politely asked him if he was ready to take my order. He also never asked what kind of bread I wanted…clearly, all of this was an inconvenience to him. When I went to pay, it’s comic that the machine asks if you want to leave a tip. I’m not tipping for service that is barely provided.

The subs are good, but this location’s staff needs a big attitude adjustment.

I wanted 30 mins to get my food while other costumers were coming in and ordering, they only made our food after the other costumers left while mine still needed to be heated up. they got my order wrong on top of that. poor time management and priority.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I placed an order BEFORE 8:30PM and it was canceled. Called the store to find out why and after over a hundred rings, someone picked up to only hang up on me mid sentence! I tried placing the order online and it wouldn’t allow me to because it was after 8:30PM! I called the store to place an order AND said I was literally in the car on my way and the employee said he couldn’t place my order, “because people always order after 8:30 PM and never pick the food up!” I paid for an uber and was in route there and was trying to be proactive and not hold your employees past 9PM! I am a traveler and after a long day at work just wanted to eat, but instead was met with poor customer service! I was ready willing to pay for my food over the phone! I asked what could I do because it was 9 mins to close and didn’t want to come in right at close and he said, “be here before 9”sarcastically. Very disappointing!

2 orders in a row from this store now wrong. The first I assumed was a fluke and now it seems to be inept staff who can’t read or tell the difference between ingredients. Past 2 orders requested bacon… paid for it and tipped… no bacon. Requested no tomatoes, both time tomatoes added. This most recent order no bacon, tomatoes present and on wheat bread not white which again is what I ordered. It’s on the slip, I have no idea how staff are this clueless as to not read the order in front of you. They’re online orders so I can prove what I requested and what I paid for. I have no idea why this place went downhill so quick. When it first opened it was excellent. I spent my breaks going to get it, so now I’m stuck with this incorrect sandwich yet again. I was so excited when they opened to have a quality lunch option close by but this is likely my last order. Never got a response either from my last wrong order which I submitted a customer service request for as calling the restaurant is useless as I don’t have time to go back up there anyhow.
