I’m not from the Philadelphia area but was looking for some good tasting Chinese food. So I went online and searched and stumbled across this restaurant. We did take out, we placed the order and by the time we got there in 20 mins the food was ready. Here are the items we got:

– Pork Fried Rice
– Chicken Wings
– Mongolian Beef
– Holiday Roll (Sushi)
– California Roll (Sushi)

I thought the food was good. Comparing to other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to the Pork Fried Rice and Mongolian beef could’ve been more flavorful. The Chicken wings could’ve been more fried and crispy. And the sushi rolls, both were delicious! I would recommend.

We found Asian Bamboo House two years ago when we visited the Glen Foerd House. This past Saturday we visited the Andalusia estate and gardens and had lunch here again. Friendly service and delicious sushi, large portions and very reasonable prices. Cucumber Kani salad, seared tuna tataki, Philly roll and Sunday roll were a great lunch. We finished by sharing some green tea ice cream. If we are back in the neighborhood, we definitely will go back!

It was my birthday and I was craving sushi. I looked around at a few places and I decided to try this place. I looked at the menu before going and they had a lot of great choices. The staff was amazing. They were very nice and helpful. We had no wait for a table either. The food was very delicious, definitely worth coming here to try. I was very amazed that it came out on a boat like that too. I loved it. These were the rolls we ordered. Eagle Roll, Lobster Roll, Tiger Roll, Dancing Shrimp Roll, and King Dragon Roll.

Stopped by Asian Bamboo House in far Northeast Philadelphia and it was definitely worth the trip. My friend ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken and I ordered Spicy Thai Basil Beef (Beef Pad Kra Pow). They only list it with chicken but they took care of me 🙂 I also ordered Satay Chicken (skewers) and (Thai Style) Spring Rolls.

EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!!

If you’re in Northeast and you’re looking for a cozy combined Asian food, sit-down place, it’s an excellent choice. They have a sushi bar, offer Chinese, Japanese and Thai food and are very friendly.

$30 for an order of shrimp with broccoli delivered with tip. Two pieces of extra shrimp, the lady tried to say they were jumbo shrimp, far from it very small. Also no sauce, if you ask for extra sauce they charge you $2.50, meanwhile they put barely any sauce in the meal. Even when I asked if they could put a little more, they made a little less. Basically no sauce at all. They talk to you rude on the phone, they fill the containers with three quarters filled with rice, plenty of room for sauce but you won’t get that from this place. They have changed, I used to like them, not anymore. Not worth my time my $30 could be spent at a restaurant with good food, steak, even lobster. For the small pieces of shrimp they have, don’t waste your time. Sad.

This is the best Chinese food I have ever had in my life. Not only that but, the customer service is EXCELLENT. They’re all so friendly and readily available whenever needed. We got chicken and broccoli with rice and beef and broccoli with rice with crab rangoon. The best crab rangoons i’ve ever had in my life. Then, we had oranges for dessert, these oranges were the absolute best oranges i’ve ever had as well & it’s just an orange everything was so good!!
