Reviews
The ambience deserves a special mention. The decor is superb, elegant and thoughtfully designed. The lighting, interiors and overall vibe make the place feel premium yet cozy at the same time. Everything around us looked stunning and beautifully maintained, making it perfect for a relaxed family dinner.
Coming to the food — Asia Kitchen serves authentic flavors that really stand out. We started with comforting bowls of Veg Eight Treasure soup, which was rich, flavorful and the perfect beginning to the meal. For dim sum, we tried the Truffle & Edamame dumplings and the Blue Pea & Spicy Asparagus dumplings, and both were incredibly fresh, delicate and packed with taste.
The small plates were equally impressive. The Crispy Chilli Corn and Cottage Cheese Chilli Oil with Spring Onion had the perfect balance of spice and crunch. For mains, we enjoyed Stir Fried Asian Greens with Tofu and Exotic Vegetables in House Smoked Chilli Sauce, both cooked beautifully with authentic seasoning and fresh ingredients.
The noodles and rice were comforting and satisfying — the Hakka Noodles and Blue Japanese Fried Rice with Vegetables & Edamame paired perfectly with the mains. We ended the meal on a sweet note with Honey Noodles with Almond Flakes, which was light, crunchy and absolutely delicious.
What truly elevated the evening was the staff. They checked in at the right moments, guided us through the menu and made sure we were taken care of without being intrusive. Their warmth added so much to the experience.
Overall, everything about Asia Kitchen — the hospitality, the staff, the ambience, the decor and the authentic food — came together perfectly. A dinner that felt special, comforting and memorable. Definitely a place we’d love to revisit with family again.
If you’re looking for a place that’s more refined than street‐side Chinese, but not overly formal, this is a smart pick. It strikes a nice balance between flavour, variety, and ambience. A great option for dinners with friends, families, or when you want a slightly elevated Asian meal.
Good taste of Chinise food with asian taste.

It starts with soups — you can choose between Manchow or Clear Soup, both packed with authentic Asian flavors. Then comes the Dim Sum and Chilly Paneer / Chilly Chicken — perfectly spiced and super fresh.
The main course had comforting veg curry with noodles or sticky rice, and it ended on a high with Mango Pudding and Honey Almond Noodles for dessert.
Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor — balanced, hearty, and satisfying!
Service was quick, staff was courteous, and the ambiance had that classic Mainland China charm.
✨Highly recommend the Set Menu if you want to taste a bit of everything — both veg and non-veg options are spot on!

After a nice shopping if you want to have a nice brunch or dinner then a must visit spot .
I tried their set menu lunch and set menu if dumplings .
The edamame truffle dumplings were my favourite what umami taste.
Also their chicken chilly with fried rice was also a good selection .
In dessert tried something different yet amazing dish called honey fried noodle with I’ve cream . Again very good dish .
Over all very good experience.
Asia Kitchen sits on the first floor of Infiniti Mall 2, Malad, tucked beside the main food court walkway. Easy to spot, hard to ignore
that neon signage practically screams “Asian feast incoming”.
Ambience? Clean, modern, and very “pan-Asian chic”.
But let’s get to our experience… because the evening was a bit of a rollercoaster.
️ What We Ordered
We went with a mix of classics and comfort bowls:
1. Papaya Salad (Som Tam)
2. Paneer & Chilli Peanut Starter
3. Ramen Bowl
4. Khow Suey
…and here’s where the plot twist enters.
⏱️ Service & Sequencing – The First Red Flag
Before our forks even warmed up, the main course arrived before the appetizer.
Yes… the Ramen Bowl lands first. Then the salad. Then the starter.
It felt like the kitchen was running its own maze without a map.
A small but important detail sequence matters, especially when flavours build on each other.
The Food — Ranked Best to Worst
1️⃣ Khow Suey – The Undisputed Winner
Creamy, fragrant, balanced, and comforting.
This bowl carried the whole dinner on its back like a Sherpa on Everest.
Perfectly cooked noodles, well-rounded curry broth, and toppings that actually made sense.
2️⃣ Papaya Salad – Crunchy, Fresh & Punchy
Bright flavours, generous peanuts, nice tang.
It’s the palate cleanser you want in an Asian meal, not the afterthought you sometimes get.
3️⃣ Paneer & Chilli Peanut Starter – Decent, Not a Showstopper
Paneer was soft, the peanuts added texture, and the chillies brought heat
but overall, this sat comfortably in the “good, not great” category.
4️⃣ Ramen Bowl – The Problem Child
This one hurt.
The broth? Tasteless.
Temperature? Lukewarm.
We actually had to ask them to reheat it and even then, it didn’t redeem itself.
For a place that charges premium pricing, a flat ramen bowl is like missing a free throw in front of an open basket.
Staff & Experience
Service was polite but the timing issue made the whole meal feel disjointed.
They were courteous when we asked for reheating, but the kitchen clearly needs better coordination.
Value for Money
The ambience and plating say “premium”.
But the portion-to-price ratio + service glitch makes it feel slightly overpriced unless you already love Mainland China’s flavour profile.
Final Verdict – SGT Scorecard
Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Food (Overall): ⭐⭐⭐
Service: ⭐⭐½
Value: ⭐⭐½
Must-Order: Khow Suey
Skip: Ramen Bowl
Final Take:
A good spot for a mall lunch/dinner if you stick to their strengths.
But the service sequencing and the underwhelming ramen definitely took away some of the charm.
Go for the Khow Suey… the rest is optional.
For starters we had Blue Pea and Spicy Asparagus Dumplings : 1/5 (It had NO TASTE). Not sure what exactly was that.
For main course I had Sizzling Stone Bowl with Noodles + Chicken Soy & Garlic : 4.5/5 (This made-up for the starter)
Ambience was great, aesthetic and the service was also great.
