A fantastic co-worker told me about this place. Had the Geshia Roll, we shared a Mango Roll and my wife had a Crab Roll. Also an order of Terrayki Chicken. Highly recommend this place. Foods outstanding, so is the customer service. You won’t be disappointed. Also get some ginger sauce

To be honest, it don’t look that great from the outside (or inside really). But the food was actually really good. Yes they have sushi and yes it was made very well. The meal portion size was very generous. And the prices are good compared to other places.

Not My thing I guess. It just didn’t feel like a place I wanted to be in. The place was a dump. Just my take on things. The food left a lot to be desired. The staff was less than enthusiastic. Would I go back, not in this life time. Would I recommend to an enemy as a place to eat, no! My recommendation find another place to eat.

It is not ok to be rude to customers no matter what. They just don’t care. I was asked to move my car 3 times instead of them just telling me to park in parking place. This is because they are too lazy to walk to the parking place. They are the ones that have a drive through. They should work to be of good service. I thought this was a nice family run restaurant. I come every time I am in time. I won’t be back. The young lady who this was my first time seeing was rude. In the past the people there were very respectful. This time it was bad.

All I can say is, wow! The sushi here is incredible, along with the hibachi. I drive from close to Airport Rd where I live, because it’s the freshest sushi in town. Above ichiban, above umi. I am extremely picky about sushi, and every time I get it, it’s fresh and totally fantastic! Kind staff, great food, it is top notch! Nothing but perfection. I have only good things to say about this restaurant! Thank you Asaka for making Japanese dishes phenomenal! They are always wonderful! I got crab and cream cheese and Philly rolls tonight, and they were wonderful! 5 stars all the way!!

Everything in the restaurant had a layer of grime on it. The men’s bathroom was disgusting and had graffiti scratched in to the mirror. Food quality was decent, but certainly not great. Steak meat was tender, but teriyaki sauce tasted like a mix. Salad was ok, but not worth the price and comes with packets of Hidden Valley dressings. Kitchen didn’t look clean at all, and the food had an odor likely from the uncleanliness of the kitchen and poor sanitary conditions. Health Dept grade was 93.5 (A) which is decent, but it seemed more like a B grade. Will not be eating here again.

Look, the truth is, when you pull up here you WILL NOT be impressed. It looks like a run down Cluck N Bell that Walter White is selling his blue crystal out of. HOWEVER, the cooks and servers are amazing! Definitely a place that personifies the phrase “dont judge a book by its cover.” I’ve been going here to eat for about 5 years. The food is consistent, it’s always great. The people are always nice, friendly, and working their butts off. They cook your food and have it to you within minutes. I absolutely love the drive through feature with a traditional Chinese takeout menu. I have nothing bad to say, I even love the atmosphere but I know most would be put off by it. I hope to see them stick around and always improving in the future.

Osaka was always the golden standard in Japanese cheap but good cuisine but they have gotten too expensive. Still a solid go to great food and portions but not as much of a “gem” as it used to be because they upped the price so much. It’s about 11-13$ now for a chicken teriyaki. There’s a hole in the wall Japanese place by the Ingles in Forest City which has the same portions and quality of asaka. But for half the price, around 6 dollars.
