The chickpeas in falafel was so raw. It felt undercooked and ruined the flavor. The tzatiki sauce was watery and was not fresh. The spinach rice was cooked well and tasted fine. You have vegetarian options here.

So this was our first time to visit Café Athens. My partner and I decided to share the falafel appetizer and the Greek nachos. The falafel was perfect, crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. The tzatsiki is amazing, what a great starter! The Greek nachos were loaded! This is plenty of food for WAY more than 2 people. The gyro meat was very good, possibly too much cheese but that was okay. I personally didn’t love the pita chips, I found them to be a little bit thick and over filling. The flavors meld very well and all in all they are really satisfying. Give Café Athens a shot when you are looking for some Mediterranean flavor!

Food was decent and the service was really attentive. Liked how spacious the restaurant is. Don’t get the orzo as a side it’s basically orzo in spaghetti sauce. The moussaka was tasty but very heavy on the cinnamon. Overall it is a quick easy bite if you are in the area!

Amazing delicious food! My favorite place to eat and especially for my birthday lunch! I love the lamb gyro with the Greek salad! The extra taziki sauce is a must and the Greek coffee just bring me joy! Highly recommended!

Don’t order the chicken platter. It’s boiled, shredded, unseasoned chicken. I was expecting gyro or kebab style chicken. Great portion side and the orzo salad was great. Management needs to change this recipe for this dish because it was just not “it”.
