Food and service were great. We have been to Arugula several times and the food and service are always consistent.

We decided to try this place simply from finding it on google maps.

when we first walked in -not a friendly vibe and the bright changing -room- like lighting was not inspiring. we did not have high hopes and were planning to leave BUT we stayed.

I have been there at least 15 times. I originally from Concordville not far from this restaurant and now live in Brigantine NJ. We come to visit my children who live 2 miles from Arugulas. This is now my favorite Italian Restaurant bar none.

I ordered the ribeye with a side of pasta, the steak was watery and had little flavor, besides the most pungent char taste. The amount of fat on this steak could clog your arteries within two bites. Thank God i ordered the pasta because I would’ve gone hungry. Based off of this I’m never coming back and I’m extremely disappointed with the food.

The food is good but if you are looking for atmosphere or ambiance forget it. The owner is so miserable. Everyone has a bad day but he apparently has a BAD day everyday. I suggest he gets a job which he enjoys. It is so bright and so open in the restaurant. It is not an enjoyable experience. The food is good at best and from a South Philly Italian that is a compliment. Maybe if you were greeted with a smile then the food would taste better … just a suggestion. I will never go back.

Food was really good! Big portions, fresh tasting ingredients. BYOB with no corkage fee is a big plus. Our server was super friendly. The place reminded me of a little mom and pop italian place in Rome — zero complaints! We’ll definitely be back soon!

Great neighborhood Italian BYOB place with home cooked food vibe. Service was also good. However, they could improve on timing their orders so chef isn’t overwhelmed. We waited over 45-50 mins+ after placing order to get our entrees.

Best BYOB Italian eatery south of Philly. A must for all Delawareans. Great food and staff. Very accommodating to both small and large parties. Thanks Tony and company.

Love this place! We lived in the area for a few years and only discovered the last few months. Food is incredible every visit. We have since moved to MA but make it a point to visit Arugula when we are driving down for family. We stopped over during the holidays and was again blow away by our meals. The quality is always on point and I love being able to bring your own wine. Their risotto app is the best. Pictured: rigatoni alla vodka, alla Chesapeake, lemon ricotta cake.
