Small town sandwich shop that doesn’t disappoint. I ordered out this time and it was quickly made. I have dined in and it is a pleasant and homey diner atmosphere. Had a small chicken noodle soup and a 4” turkey and cheddar sandwich. Delicious!

Awesome sandwich. Going through town and wanted something local and freshly made. The sandwich is one of my favorite deli sandwiches if not my new #1. Fresh soft bread and having it with the “works no tomato” toppings really set this apart from others. Will come back next time I’m in town!

This is my least favorite Arthur’s location. It’s so cramped, they have far less menu items, allbeit partially due to a fire. But up charging items on the rock falls side is really annoying. IDK if it is because they’re close to the interstate. They also mess up sandwiches from time to time I’d say more often than Sterling or Dixon

Adorable local deli! Apparently number 1 for LUNCH. As a first time customer…this was no surprise! They were patient with our indecisiveness and offered suggestions which we loved. The outside and inside is clean and sets you back in time…AND I haven’t even talked about the food yet!!
Exceptional flavor! We had a 7 inch #2 Arthur’s Choice sub with the works, full #6 Ham, Salami, and Provolone with the works on a spinach wrap, and a spinach wrap #16 tuna with tomato, lettuce, and onions. Every bite was worth it!! Mine was the #6 and the salty meats, sweet-hot Dijon etc was full flavor every taste.
If you are looking for a stop before CHI…this is the place!! Thank you Arthur’s Garden Deli!!

Not recommended for carryout. I ordered a veggie and they gave me a roast beef, probably because they were super busy and rushing. I was already on the road when I figured this out, and when I called the manager, she would not even rectify the situation by refunding or giving me a credit for another sandwich the next visit. This is disappointing behavior for a local restaurant.

Quality in both locations is slipping. Bread was dry and stale, not the first time. Sandwiches are smaller. Potato soup was watery. Disappointed, this used to be my favorite place.

Really good. Worth the extra time off the interstate. Really fresh bread, good soups, and yummy deserts. Exit 41 on interstate 88. Rock Falls. We were going to go to Subway… boy am I glad we didn’t!!!

Followed the signs from I-88 to a small building that is loaded with amazing sandwiches, mac and cheese, soups, chocolate covered turtles, and frozen yogurt. Love this place and will for sure visit again!

I saw a sign on the highway advertising this place on my next exit. Sounded a lot better than McDonald’s and it was! Ordered the “work of art” sandwich. With “the works”. It was an unusual combination of meats but it was really yummy. It was also huge. Cute cozy environment inside. Very quick service.
