Sad to see this place fell off! $8.00 for these little fried pieces called Vegetable Tempura. This place used to be awesome, but the food has really taken a huge hit. Service was horrible, Indian girl with glasses didn’t say a word of thank you, you’re welcome – nothing. Just completely absent from any manners. You can tell owner is never there and just lets kids run the place. Last time I’ll be going.

Food is great, service from the ladies taking the order is 5-Star as well. My only request is this. Next time a cook gets angry don’t allow him to walk into the area where customers are trying to get their food and are able to hear how disgruntled he is.(move your lunch clock to the back of the store) He made comments to the customers like, “good luck getting your food it’s going to be a while, we have cooks here who don’t care.” I feel so confident eating this food now. Lol How embarrassing it was for the young lady taking my order while this guy just complains in front of us all. This is a hostile work environment for her.

I got the teriyaki beef bowl and gyoza. The rice was alright, I’ve had better and worse.
The meat was delicious, and the teriyaki sauce was some of the best I’ve tried.
The gyoza was crispy and tasty and came with probably some of the best sweet chili oil I’ve ever had.
The restaurant was pretty clean and the service was quick

It’s Japanese food on a budget! And it’s surprisingly good! I fetched a Loca Mocha Java Monster from the Save-mart next door and got a free cup of ice to accompany the teriyaki chicken bowl I bought. Much of the meal was incredibly tender and juicy to bite into, the rice being cooked to a comfortable al dente alongside the tangy teriyaki sauce. And speaking of which, they provided plenty of it so be careful adding it as to not over flavor your food. The shrimp was nice, but just a bit flavorless and marginally thin proportions. But again! It’s all on a budget and saving money while enjoying a decent meal is within reach for the location. Give it a shot! I know I’ll be coming back.

This place is a Visalian go to for something fast and tasty. My go-to orders are their chicken salad, veggie tempura, chicken/beef rice bowls, green tea ice cream and their ginger chicken wing plate. I love their wings but expect to wait 20+ minutes for them to be ready. I usually call in and order the wing plate ahead of time but during lunch/busy hours you may be hit with the busy tone- just try and call to order again. I’ve heard their Goshen/Akers location is better than this one but overall I love this place.

The food was great, but the atmosphere was absolutely terrible. Two male employees were in a heated argument in the back and were yelling at each other extremely loudly, with one accusing the other of not washing any dishes that day, etc. This went on for a good 15 minutes before we finally had to get up and leave. We were legitimately afraid that one of them might have a gun and start shooting. We will never return to this place again.
