Everything was yummy starting with the salsa which is full of chunks of fresh vegetables, and our lunch, consisting of the chorizo taco, El Pastor, and a Birra taco plus a cheese enchilada. Delicious with kind service, very affordable.

Such a great place that serves good Mexican food. We (my friends and I) were visiting from out of town and truly we just wanted some place to have food nearby our hosting house. Thanks to Google maps we were able to see the menu and their food. This place its really good, with the right portions enough to fill us up. So glad we tried it out on our way put of 29 Palms.

Seriously incredible food. Everything there had a depth of flavor that is beyond what you usually get at similar types of restaurants, and the cost to portion ratio was excellent. Don’t let the unassuming nature of the building or location fool you, great staff, great prices, and seriously, can’t stress this enough, excellent food!

Stopped for lunch after a drive through Joshua Tree. Delicious salsa and nice, quiet atmosphere with yummy Mexican food! Quick as well!

This just isn’t quality food. I read the reviews figured I would give it a shot and I was very disappointed. The staff and service was decent very friendly people. However all of the food was very low quality. Starting with the salsa it taste nothing like salsa at all. The meat in every dish we order was over cooked and tasted like canned meats, extremely dry and had odd texture. The rice texture was off and under seasoned, beans tasted spoiled and all of the dishes were either to spicy to mask the lack of flavor or were flavorless. Freshest thing in the place were the tortillas. If the place would transition to using fresh meat and produce I would consider giving it another go but it is extremely obvious that everything here is treated like a meal prep then reheated and served on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils.

The family and I go here at least twice a month and are never disappointed. I try a different dish each time. So far I haven’t found anything I didn’t like and the staff are always friendly. If you are looking for a good meal and unique atmosphere, this is the place for you.

Absolutely delicious. Their chips and salsa, on point, very authentic. Salsa is very flavorful. The atmosphere is inviting. Was greeted with a smile, and prompt service. Their tables are clean and stocked with napkins. The entire restaurant is made to feel like home. The Carnitas plate comes with a HUGE portion for the price. The flavor is absolutely amazing. Their rice and beans are delectable. The corn tortillas as well. This restaurant DEFINITELY will be the only one I will eat at. I’m so incredibly pleased. You can tell they put love into everything here.

Finally mustered up the courage to try this place again after the health code rating went up. Hostess was sitting down eating when we first arrived, guess the owners don’t give out uninterrupted meal breaks? We sat ourselves per her instructions after handing us menus, didn’t bother washing her hands. Our server came out, got our drinks and orders. Complimentary chips tasted stale and not heated, not one single table check to ask for refills or if the food was any good. This place gets three stars because food was decent, although watered down sour cream was pretty scary. Luckily no food poisoning, I’m not returning again.
