My favorite spot for brunch in Kauai a d not just because of my love of Hemingway novels, the food here is top notch and the service is very good. I had my favorite, The Old Man and The Sea, which is smoked salmon and eggs served with baguettes. Everyone loved their dishes and we shared a croissant and honey, which I highly recommend.

Oh my goodness! Fantastic start to finish. A super cappuccino if you are in for just a coffee. The breakfast options are fresh & v special. So many great options, I had the chef choose & a great choice it was. #3 – omelet w fresh herbs & cream cheese. It came w yogurt parfait & beautiful bread. My husband had a croissant sandwich w egg, cheese & a type of ham. Also got a side salad w a delicious Gorgonzola dressing. Look forward to returning! (Next trips – crepes, scrambled egg breakfast…)

Came here for brunch on a Sunday and there was quite a wait time bout 40 mins for 2 people. It has a French theme feel and food was in good portion and delicious. Servers are friendly and adequate. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.

Phenomenal food and refined atmosphere. I previously didn’t realize Kaua’i had anything like this place. Felt very much like a quick trip abroad (or at least Honolulu)! Contrary to what others have written here, I found the servers quite charming (admittedly our group of four essentially had them and the place to ourselves, but we came in quite late, which they were very gracious about). This is a hidden gem and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Great fresh handmade breakfast in a nice historical house. Enjoy a freshly pressed orange juice, a savory croissant and / or a piece of homemade quiche. Enjoyed an amazing dinner there as well (super fresh food, very good wine selection). One of the best addresses on Kauai. Great service, relaxed atmosphere and super nice European owners. Will definitely be back for more.

There is an extensive breakfast menu here. Wife ordered “The old man and the sea” breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, two types of bread, salmon and an appetizer bite of crab meat ($17). Portions were a little small for me but perfect for my wife. As, per most breakfast’s wife always has to try the coffee. She ended with a latte, but per her taste was “milky” and needed a little less milk with a little more coffee.

We loved this place! Bloody Mary’s are spicy and have steak sauce in them. Very unique and good! The crepes were authentic. We got Nutella and banana and another one with cinnamon and sugar. My husband got a croissant and the croissant was fresh and flaky. I got the number 3 and loved it! Everything was fresh and flavorful.

Another favorite on the island. We’ve been coming here for years. Great food, service, and atmosphere. And wonderful owners! They use as much local ingredients as possible. And they also have an art gallery on the second floor.

The best restaurant in Kapa’a. Delicious fish soup, awesome beef bourguignon. They have fresh fish every day so the fish main courses may change. Not many seats (about 50) so if you go during a weekend yoi better have a reservation. Nice people, always with a smile on. Wines are ok, the Italian one “Cannonau di Sardegna” is the best choice if you go for the bourguignon otherwise if you prefer the Fillet Mignon I think the Malbec one is the right wine.

Perfect brunch spot. Food was not too heavy. Almost feels like you are eating in someone’s house and the breeze moving through the dining area was great after a morning hike of sleeping giant.
