Love this place! I always get the garlic shrimp, but grilled instead of sautéed. It’s so delicious! I would add more garlic myself, but its still really yummy! Plus you can look at the fake lake and feel like you are somewhere else for a little while. The salsa is spicy for us, but we still love it. Everyone is really nice also!

I’ve been going to Arroyo’s since I was a little girl with my grandma, still to this day I love eating here. The food is delicious, customer service is always amazing and welcoming. Today we went for Valentines Day and were surprised with mini cheesecakes which were absolutely mouth watering!

The margaritas were quite good. I ordered carne asada fajitas. Like most places, I expected it to come out in a hot sizzling platter with the rice, guacamole, etc. on the side. Instead, I received one big regular plate with a small amount of meat (somewhat lukewarm) and a lot of the other items (rice, etc.) The meat tasted good, but nowhere near as much other restaurants provide. Our waitress did a wonderful job waiting on our party.

Our family has been eating here for decades and we highly recommend Arroyo’s Cafe. Best Mexican food in town. Their meat sauce is unique and absolutely delicious. I ordered the two cheese enchilada dinner plate. They make their enchiladas with their meat sauce. I don’t like a lot of meat, so this is a perfect combo for me.

First of all. It was me and my husband that came in asking a table for 4. There was probably about 4 or 5 other tables that had people, who were all white people. Me and my Husband who is considerably dark were put all the way in the back where the window is up the stairs. I know for a fact that they catered to the white clientele better. The waitress came once for drinks and didn’t come back for about 20minutes. While we can see her visiting a white people table that came in afterwards every other minute. Finally when she comes she takes the orders and doesn’t come back for another 25 minutes for our food. She served us and gave us refills and didn’t come back. Mind you we were the only ones in the back top stairs alone until they seated another mexican family behind us. She never came back and it’s until after we were done eating for the check and didn’t give us time to order flan as she left So my husband and his friend had to walk to the front to order something. The food was decent, some of the meat was too salty, the camaron tostada has too much Ketchup in it, very sweet. The margarita was really great, the flan was okay, it wasn’t worth 5 dollars at all. The fried tacos are pretty big, that was our friends order, But the carne asada was very salty he didnt even eat it. The beans are refried and had too much lard in them, which I did not end up eating, the red rice is very bland. My husband Chicken enchiladas were just wierd,no distinguishable taste of what the sauce was. The Horchata is very sweet and has too much vanilla, it was more of a brownish color. The worst service ever. Will not come back.

Great place, at first glance I wasn’t convinced. As the visit progressed I was happy, the food tasted really good and the service was also there. I had shrimp diabla and usually that is my go to plate whenever I see it on the menu, but most places get it wrong and not spicy. This one was on point with spicy, the enchiladas suizas were also great. Overall every item we ordered was on point. Good job and we will visit again.

I’ve been to this location over 30 years. Unfortunately since they moved to March Lane the food has been hit or miss. But I will continue to patronize because when the food is good it’s really good. I tend to order the lunch specials and I like the fact that you can order the lunch special at any time of the day. The prices have increased significantly but I can’t fault the restaurant for that because prices up of everything nowadays. I just wish the food tasted consistently good. In this particular visit I chose to get a beef and cheese burrito a la carte.
