This place is a little food truck area with outdoor seating. The food was amazing, I ordered several different items on the menu just to basically try it all. It was well worth the drive. The owners are super sweet and very accommodating. It is a must stop and have some German Food place.

Food was fresh and delicious! It is nice to finally have some German food in the area. Each meal is prepared as you order as this speaks for their freshness, so expect a little bit of a wait on busy days. They have a nice outdoor area to sit and relax while waiting so I recommend getting a cool drink! Employees of all the food trucks in the area were incredibly helpful. As I was waiting for my food, there wasn’t any shady spots, but an employee from another truck put up an umbrella so I could move into the shade. I decided the share a table with some others and had a nice meal on a beautiful day.

I was fortunate to have lived in Germany for 7 years back in the 70’s and 80’s. So what a delicious surprise to have this German food truck make it’s debut on Galveston Island. The food is beyond yummy and the menu authentic. The owners, Judith and Charles are a true delight to chat with and get to know. If you are on the island, Around The Corner food truck is a must do!

Whether it’s holding a conversation, creating a wonderful delicious meal, or ensuring your hot freshly served food has just the right amount of seasoning or taste! That is why I can ensure you that an experience at their food truck is worth one having. It is filled with delicious authentic German food that will want you coming back for seconds (maybe even thirds). Would recommend EVERYONE to try this new up and coming food truck for it will take you right into the heart of German culture provided by my mother, Judith Smith and step father, Charles Smith! ❤️ Love you guys!

A while back I was really wanting some solid german food, and I know of the usual places around me, but they tend to “amercan-ize” and/or over charge. While searching for new places I found this food truck on Google, and just yesterday my husband and I finally got to go! It was perfect! The owners, Judith and Charles, are great! The food is delicious! Not over priced compared to others. The sauerkraut was THE BEST! Judith offers weekly specials. Next time we go we’re excited to try the special 🙂 ❤️
