Steak Panini sandwiches are grilled to perfection. The pastries are delightful.
It was also a pleasant surprise to find that they offer sugar-free DrPepper as a fountain drink. We particularly enjoyed the authentic black beans We’ve been to many Cuban restaurants in Miami, the Caribbean, etc. This is one of our favorites

I cannot adequately express how delicious the food was…you’ll have to eat here yourself! We each got a small sandwich (nothing small about them, really); I had the Cuban and the hubby had the Philly cheesesteak. We also got the yucca ball (forgot the name), which came with ground meat on the side. We finished up with a cream cheese & guava empanada. We were stuffed and very satisfied! There are picnic tables outside and a big dining room inside with amazing island ambiance. We’ll definitely be back.

I lived in Miami, FL 25 years. I was so disappointed eating the food here.
Things tasted like it had freezer burn , some things were undercooked (different coloration throughout). Other things were burnt in what tasted like old cooking oil. Croquettes had no flavor. And the “mojo” tasted like a liquid from some pre bought store Goya bottle or something that probably was suppose to be used to season food with not but served and sold as dipping sauce. Cuban sandwich was so sad to eat cheese was completely melted like Philly sandwich which is not suppose to be and honestly I had such high hopes for this place. It might pass for people that don’t know what Cuban food is suppose to taste like, but for people that know the food I recommend just passing on it.
This sentence might be a petty one but in all my years living in Miami I’ve never seen a Cuban sandwich cut long ways. As soon as I got it I thought “that’s weird!”

The food was great. The only downside is they use Fabuloso cleaner and it was towards the end of the night. The lady poured it in the bucket close to the table where we were eating. But at least it was warm in the dinning area.

Love this place! No, it’s not Florida, it’s East Tennessee. If you need a Cuban sandwich from Florida, head South. If you want a delicious Cuban sandwich, black beans & rice and a serving of Tres Leches, without the travel time, then come to Aroma.
It’s not big and fancy, but it is a wonderful little place with delicious food, large portions, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

This place is definitely a nice hidden gem. It is super inexpensive for the portion sizes you get. We both got a large sandwich combo that comes with a side and a drink for under $30. Honestly we could have either went with a small sandwich each or split a large. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak with a side of the Sweet plantains. My boyfriend got the Sloppy Jose with Papa Rellano. Both dishes were so full of flavor. We will be going back soon and will definitely be recommending to others.

Great experience! First time visiting, in a slight hurry. The menu at first is overwhelming so I asked the dude working what he recommends. He recommended the Cuban Sandwich and the Papa Rellena for the side. Absolutely fantastic meal! Thankful for the recommendation and grateful to have this place around! I highly recommend if you want something different. This is one of those “off the beaten path” “hole in the wall” “hidden gem” type place we all dream of as foodies!

Very quiet and clean, the potato and ground beef is excellent, the Cuban sandwich is amazing we stopped back in on the way back to Florida and got another sandwich to go for my in-laws, the chef even put everything in separate containers to make sure it was not soggy in the 9hr ride. It’s definitely a must stop if you are near.

Love me some cubano and having lived in Florida it’s hard to find something that stands up. Not saying this was as good but definitely a contender! Service was a bit slow, but it’s just a small place so it’s to be expected. Atmosphere was kind of cool! Had the ambiance of sitting outside in a cuban neighborhood. As for the cubano, it was good, a little on the thin side though. Also ordered a sweet empanada, which was pretty good. Just wish it had a bit more crisp. Overall, this is really the only cuban place I’ve found so far, but am not opposed to going back until I find the one to knock FL off the board!

The service and food was delicious. I love the authenticity of it all. The place could use a little sprucing up but otherwise everything was great. Enjoyed our first visit here. We tried the Cuban sandwich, philly, beef and chicken empanadas and the potato ball. We enjoyed all 3.
