I ordered 3 Enchilada plates (Carne Asada, Beef and Chicken) picked them up 4 minutes after they said order would be ready. Got home approximately 10 minutes later and opened them up to eat. Worst Mexican meal I have EVER had in my entire life. They weren’t baked or fried like an Enchilada is supposed to be. Just slop packed in between 3 shells. All 3 were literally a pile up disgusting mush and the Asada tasted like it had been cooked last week. I live in Palmer Lake and used to like Arlene’s Beans but after this experience I will never eat at this place again. If I was the owners I’d be ashamed to serve this food to even inmates in jail. I’ve never gave a bad review on food in my life on the internet but this one doesn’t even deserve any stars, should be negative 5 stars…

Food is so amazing here, but it just makes me so sad that I just spent $120 on food, drove all the way from Castle Rock, ordered extra dips and food to take home, just for it to be ruined when I asked for a bag that would have cost me 10 cents. It’s only ten cents, no big deal, but I didn’t have any change on me and I knew running my credit card would have cost them more than the cost of the bag. Sad that a great experience and reputation can be ruined by something that simple. Hope the 10 cents was worth it.

Great casual place for Mexican food in Monument. I would highly recommend the place and really enjoyed it. We only had one complaint and that is with the hot sauce/salsa options. (Probably need to send an emissary to Texas to research how salsa should be made to compliment mexican food! 🙂

Great little local Mexican food joint. The food is made to order and is always fresh. This time I had a Loco burrito smother in green and red sause (Christmas style). The red sauce is perfect but maybe too spice for many, the green sauce is very good and is mild. We had a full group with us so a large variety of food was ordered. The kids really enjoyed the quesadillas (chickens and beef). Chicken was better. Definitely recommend this place.

Had dinner here on Friday. Will took our order and was very nice and efficient. Good is always good, atmosphere is probably we don’t come here more often. I get it, people can be slobs, but the signs all over basically scolding customers is kind of a turn-off. Anyway, they seem to do a good business.

Arlene’s beans has that perfect balance of great food, quick service, great prices, all while keeping a relaxed and family atmosphere. We’ve been here so many times and feel like family! We’ve had big events here as well. Love this place!
