Arlene’s Beans in Monument is such a gem! The atmosphere was awesome—great lights, fun music, and an overall inviting vibe. The place was spotless and had a welcoming feel right from the start.
I ordered the Lobo Jr. burrito with carne asada, peppers, onions, beans, and rice, and wow—at the very first bite I was blown away. Hands down the best burrito I’ve had in a long time! The carne asada was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. I also had chips and salsa on the side, and both were excellent—the salsa especially stood out. To top it off, I enjoyed a Jarrito grapefruit soda, which paired perfectly with the meal.
The service was just as impressive—friendly, helpful, and very welcoming for my first visit. I highly recommend checking this place out and can’t wait to come back to try more of their amazing food!

I went for the first time last night and will absolutely be back! I have a few food restrictions (gluten free/vegetarian) and was so pleased to see the numerous options available. Everything is clearly marked. The staff are extremely friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. The restaurant has a welcoming vibe and everything looks clean.

Great local spot with really good food and a lot of options to choose from. I love supporting local businesses, and Arlene’s Beans delivers on quality and variety. Everything we’ve tried has been solid. The only thing to note is the prices are on the steeper side. Bonus points for margaritas to go by the half gallon! Definitely worth checking out.

Nice reputation. We were there for a school fundraiser….Ordered Burritos and Tacos to go. Nice little place…Cashier was a bit out of sorts, but food was good and place was packed….Beans, no doubt, really good

Have no idea how this restaurant has the reviews it has. My rice tasted like it was heated in the microwave and didn’t even crumble when a fork passed through it. The tamales had no actual chile/salsa, i guess its my fault for going to some faux mexican place that doesn’t even know what a good salsa is. Very disappointed waste of money

Great little local Mexican food joint. The food is made to order and is always fresh. This time I had a Loco burrito smother in green and red sause (Christmas style). The red sauce is perfect but maybe too spice for many, the green sauce is very good and is mild. We had a full group with us so a large variety of food was ordered. The kids really enjoyed the quesadillas (chickens and beef). Chicken was better. Definitely recommend this place.

Authentic New Mexican food. Casual setting, order at the counter or the bar. They both and table seating along with a patio. Friendly staff and meals are at reasonable prices. Start with their sampler of guacamole, salsa and queso with fresh chips. Their red Chile is authentic and reminds me of home. Highly recommend.
