We came here for a nightcap after dinner and it was a blast!
Really cool bar with a GREAT staff. They have this whole section of board games that we ended up playing while we drank a bit!

Love this place. Great food and they offer a cooler full of $3 beers. What a bargain. The cooler had several high quality beers and my foolish friends ordered $7 pints . Archers provide a great selection of food and deliver way more than you can eat.

I stopped by for lunch and ordered a burger, the soup of the day, and a coffee. The total came to $29 including tip. It was quiet in the afternoon with very few people around, so the atmosphere was calm. Service was very quick and efficient. The food was tasty and came out hot and fresh. A nice place for a relaxed midday meal.

I heard that the Elk burger was the best burger in Bellingham so I was eager to give it a try. Turns out it just might be. It was super thick and cooked consistently all the way through. Nice and lean but also super tender. The crispy bacon was a perfect addition. One surprise was that the side of beef chili I had with it was amazing, very flavorful, and made it difficult for me to decide which I liked best.

Back of house knows what they are doing. When they make a special, it’s always good. However, Irish nachos used to be made with sliced potatoes. Now, it’s made with tater tots. Cheesecake used to be made in-house, basque style. Now, it’s store-bought.

Had a very tasty meal (bangers and mash) with a flight of great Irish whiskeys. My wife enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich with tater tots and an amber ale. Always great food, drinks and atmosphere. The service has always been good.

This was the 1st time we visited Archer Ale House. It’s fantastic! Loved the food. The employees are great and the cocktails are superb. The Guinness is on nitro. Need I say more? Just go and enjoy.

Recommended to me, by a local, and now me to you…this place is a hidden gem. No seriously, it’s hidden down in a basement, smack in the middle of Fairhaven Village on Harris. No longer will you ignorantly stroll on by, but now, being fully informed, you’ll quickly head on down those stairs, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised how good their food is… especially for a Bar. Sit yourself down… at said bar, and order up… an old fashioned, followed by the best BLT you’ve ever tried. That’s correct..and my dollar says it will be, and you’ll agree with me before that last bite is consumed. Very cool environment, superior service, lots of space, an, and… I relaxed immediately once I sat on that stool, and I think you will too. So… “come on down” and hang out with the locals.

It was a much better Irish pub than I thought, and the food was authentic, so I enjoyed enough food and beer. If you go down the stairs, you can enter a very cozy bar, and Bangers and mesh, Oyster, and sausage roll are also authentic. The Nitro Guinness beer also tasted great. Highly recommend this place

Nestled underground in Historic Fairhaven at 1212 10th Street, The Archer Ale House offers a cozy, inviting atmosphere reminiscent of a classic Irish pub. We began our meal with the baked jalapeño poppers, stuffed with herb-infused cream cheese and topped with crispy bacon bits and shredded Tillamook cheddar—an absolutely delightful start. For the main course, we enjoyed the shepherd’s pie, featuring braised lamb, carrots, green beans, and crimini mushrooms, all topped with white cheddar and duchess potatoes. We also had a Caesar salad accompanied by a hand-formed Dungeness crab cake, which was fresh and flavorful. The service was exceptionally friendly, enhancing the warm and cozy ambiance of the pub. With its extensive selection of over 100 varieties of bourbon, rye, scotch, and whiskey, as well as a diverse range of local drafts and flagship imports, The Archer Ale House is a must-visit spot in Fairhaven. We will definitely be returning to explore more of their delicious menu and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.
