Simply, it is a very good ramen! Period.

You have 3 options for the spicy ramens, the medium was a bit hot for me, but still good.
Soft drinks are the canned ones, not the overly diluted fountain ones.

This ramen spot is tucked away in a strip mall in Tukwila. The ramen itself is decent, but the overall experience left me disappointed.

I tried both the spicy miso and black garlic ramen. The spicy miso was definitely the stronger of the two—bolder, creamier, and more satisfying. The black garlic ramen, on the other hand, was milder and lightly garlicky, but lacked depth compared to the miso.

You can upgrade your ramen to a combo by paying extra, which includes a small salad and a small appetizer. However, the pricing doesn’t make much sense. I ordered the honey garlic karaage combo (3 pieces + small salad) for an additional $9, but if I had skipped the combo and just ordered karaage separately for around $10, I would’ve gotten more pieces. The value just isn’t there.

Service was another major letdown. Both times I visited, there were only two servers. One server was very attentive to the table next to me—constantly refilling their water and checking in while my own water cup sat empty. That server noticed my empty cup but didn’t refill it, possibly because I wasn’t “her” table. My assigned server rarely checked on customers and only refilled my water at the very end when I was ready to pay. I also tried flagging them down multiple times without success.

Overall, between the inconsistent service, confusing pricing, and only average ramen, it wasn’t a pleasant experience. I don’t see myself coming back.

Arashi Ramen in Tukwila feels like a warm bowl of comfort disguised as a restaurant — the kind of place where the steam drifting from the kitchen curls around you like an invitation. ✨

Their broth arrives with that quiet confidence only slow-cooked richness can have: deep, savory, and carrying a whisper of sweetness that lingers just long enough to make you chase the next spoonful. The noodles have that springy, just-woke-up energy, lively without being chewy.

The chashu practically melts the moment your chopsticks sigh in its direction, and the soft-boiled egg? A tiny sunrise hiding in your bowl. Even the sides — from gyoza to karaage — carry a satisfying crunch that feels like punctuation to the meal.

Service is quick and friendly, the vibe is casual but cozy, and the whole place hums with the rhythm of people discovering their new favorite ramen shop.

If you’re anywhere near Tukwila and craving a bowl that hugs you back, Arashi Ramen deserves a spot on your map

In Seattle for work, craving Ramen for dinner. Saw this place had great reviews so decided to try it. So glad I did. I waked in an ordered to go. They were quick and friendly. The broth was really good however not very spicy. Restaurant near Westfield shopping center, felt high end. Would definitely dine again!

This was some of the best ramen I’ve had! They really are masters of their craft, and we can’t wait to eat here again.

They have a lot of great options to choose from where they summer their broth for 16 hours! My partner adored his, and they had a fantastic vegetarian option for me!

A delicious meal. Simply superb with zero negative critiques. I ordered Tantan Men, specifically for the thick noodles. They were incredible and the broth was sensational. So good that I returned 3 days later to eat the same meal again. Will be back for 3rd visit soon!

Broth was simple yet very flavorful. Got a combo and everything stood out as yummy and it was decently priced. Nice staff and a very chill vibe. Would definitely come again.

This cozy ramen place was a perfect first introduction to Japanese ramen, especially since it offers vegetarian options. I went in without any expectations, but the vegetarian ramen was a pleasant surprise because the broth was incredibly creamy and packed with savory flavor

Really appreciated the fact that they have a vegan karaage. Went there twice for it and then also ordered on DoorDash.

The food was decent. The tonkatsu salt broth was a little bland. Next time I will get soy sauce flavor. The gyōzas were good. The karage had a good flavor but the chicken was pretty chewy. The curry rice bowl was really tasty with just the right amount of spice.
We were disappointed that we got a can of soda with no free refills. The reason for one less star is because the service wasn’t great. She wasn’t friendly and we spoke Japanese and she didn’t know what we said and pronounced the name of the restaurant incorrectly. Maybe it’s just us but if you work at a Japanese restaurant, you should, at least, pronounce the words right.

Decent tasting food, although a bit pricey. If you don’t mind spending more for less, this is a good place to eat.
