This was a fantastic dinner. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food was delicious and our service was amazing! Our waiter gave us complimentary champagne and a cocktail due to the food delay, which was such a nice touch. The escargot is really great and my steak was cooked perfectly. We highly recommend going here. We will be returning!

I love this restaurant! The atmosphere is so “chic” and elegant. You really feel like you are in a nice bistro in Paris. Food is amazing and authentic! Do not forget to try the Moules and frites! Really tasty! Oh and save some space for dessert because you are gonna need it! I would recommend the Tarte Tatin. Totally recommended!

I was so disappointed by my visit today. The food was good enough but the quality seems to have gone down significantly. My omelette plate was so….sad looking. They couldn’t throw more potatoes or some greens on the plate? Pre-packaged jam instead of in a little container? The biggest disappointment was the chocolate mousse. I’m including a picture of what it looked like last year, and what it’s been reduced to this year. My cappuccino was served in a coffee mug. This isn’t what I expected, or the quality I’ve experienced before, at Aquitaine.

Cool atmosphere and great service. Loved the duck hash. Wife had French Onion soup and loved it. All 4 of us cleaned our plates.

Excellent brunch and fabulous service. Highly recommend the French toast. It’s coated in corn flakes and deep fried. Coffee was also great. The host was wonderful – he ended also being our waiter – I was very impressed by his multitasking. He made the meal even better and the entire brunch experience far exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is beautiful inside – very relaxing, cafe vibe. I was also shocked at how reasonably priced everything was – the bill was way less than I had anticipated.

Excellent steak and ambiance. Staff are very professional. I got the poor man’s steak, Hanger, it’s a winner! Tuna Tartare and Scallop bisque for starter was tasty! Dessert was Creme Brûlée. YUM. By the glass menu is solid. I would stick to the usual suspects in Bordeaux or Rhone.

I think they are priced reasonably but to tell the truth foods were not to my expectations. I found French toast no different than the donut. Shakshouka eggs were unevenly cooked and I doubt tomatoes were freshly minced. They also took a long like to serve but the server was kind enough to tells us our food is coming as we were loosing out patience with angry appetite.

It’s definitely a busy restaurant, especially weekends. I enjoy their choices of sides with the main dish. I got the duck breast and even though I don’t like poultry’s breast meat, I enjoyed this a lot. It’s savory, moist and with a hint of smoke. The peas is a nice pairing. The hanger steak (medium rare) was a bit too rare for my taste but the texture was really nice. The pate with truffle is really good and could be eaten by 2 people with their bread, butter and the pickled veggies.

Excellent French cuisine near the south end. Been to Aquitaine several times and have not been disappointed any of those times. The duck dishes are prepared really well, and there’s a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating.

I arrived flustered and at the wrong time. They graciously seated us anyway. Food was exceptional. I found their menu descriptions under-described and the food was really very worthy. The service was friendly and flawless. Cocktails and wine were presented nicely. Deserts were very good.
