We’re April’s Sunrise Tap, and we’ve been a restaurant and bar here in Des Moines, IA, since 1990. We believe in providing a friendly environment for our neighborhood bar, complete with games, fun, happy hour, sandwiches and cocktails. We started this business after years of experience working in the bar and restaurant industry and jumping at the opportunity when it presented it’s self. We’re looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Des Moines and the surrounding areas. Super place to hang out, sip a cold one, and play some Golden Tee. Food is solid on their limited modest day to day menu, however, their Sunday morning breakfast and “Tuesday Taco’s” are the best kept secret bargain on the eastside. Very tasty and the price is awesome. Staff is friendly and responsive. April and Chad have done a very nice job with this place and I look forward to the pleasure of being a customer of theirs for a long time to come.

We stopped in on our way home for the first time. They had karaoke and everyone welcomed us. We had a lot of fun meeting new people. Service was great and drinks were a good value. Thanks, we will be back.

Great service awesome drinks and the people that go there are very nice and talkative they have karaoke on Friday nights it’s the best bar I’ve been to in Des Moines and on Sunday mornings they serve a great breakfast for very low prices bartenders and April and Chad owners are wonderful people and my friends
