Popped in after work for a bite. The location was pretty clean. Service was a lil slow to say they weren’t busy. A d had a couple hiccups with the orders but it was taken care of.

Applebees in Temple was the place to be Christmas day! The atmosphere was lively and festive! The food and service were amazing! We only had a 30-45 min wait time! We had the Holiday Dinner Special, along with a Ribeye Steak n’ onions, Mushrooms and awesome gravy seasoning on a ficotta? Bread sandwich. A couple of Blue Margaritas set it off!! Our server “Ni” was amazing! He was right on time when we were seated in spite of the crowds. Ni made us feel special, and accommodated our every need while seamlessly attending to other customers. He presented himself in a gracious and professional manner. This added to the spirit of the holiday! The whole atmosphere was warm, with friendly chatter between guests as well. Thank you Applebee’s for hosting this year’s Christmas dinner and 10 stars to your entire amazing staff who worked tirelessly under these conditions with happy faces and warm smiles!

We went in for the dinner special, the 1 appetizer, and 2 entree deals. We both got the steak dish, one with garlic one without. The portions looked skimpy next to the menu pictures. Considering that we were there on a Thursday at a none-peak time, I would have expected a cleaner restaurant. The men’s restroom had a very disgusting toilet that had overflowed, and a urinal that was also clogged and useless, according to my adult son. After hearing that, I avoided the women’s restroom.
We sat at the bar. We had our drink order taken, and then we waited and waited and waited. After getting our food, the waitress didn’t stop by during our meal to check if the steaks were cooked correctly, if the overall meal was okay, or if we needed anything else. There were two men seated at the end of the bar that seemed to garner most of her attention. It’s too bad! I have avoided Applebee’s for quite a while because of over price entrees and lack of service. This visit didn’t change my mind. I guess I’ll try them again in another 5 years IF they are still around. Sadly, the steaks were okay, but everything else went downhill from there.
The photos I have included are from the menu. From what you see in the photos, imagine half of the potatoes and smaller steaks. In the menu pictures, the food fills the plates. In reality, you get a plate where the portions are so small that they don’t even touch.

He WHISTLED AT ME like I was a freaking DOG to ask me from TWO tables away if things were okay.
I am DEFINITELY never coming back and I hope that $5 tip was worth being a jerk.

Want to brag on Chris who seated us. He’s a young guy but noticed I was using a cane and he stopped and asked me if I was ok to go up the 2 steps to the tables. When I told him I appreciated him noticing and asking he replied he just wanted to make sure my experience was comfortable. Wow most people wouldn’t even noticed or think about that. He took us to our table and told us our waitress would be right with us and enjoy our meal. Hats off to Chris for being so caring. Good thing he’s the first contact. Sets the tone!!

So apparently this is a basket of waffle fries, the new apple pie pecan ice cream, and a platter of chicken tenders. $114 dollars yea I’m good. The proportions for this amount of money is ridiculous. And the fries are always cold, hard or soggy. Other than the food. The young lady who helped my husband was very sweet and very helpful and our order was ready upon arrival. I’m getting the pattern with taking out from theses franchise restaurants now and I’m so over it. never again.

Not a good experience at all. Food was not good, my cup had questionable things on it, there were literal bugs crawling on the window sill next to where we were eating, and the men’s bathroom was filthy. We will not be returning at all. The only half decent thing was our server. They were sweet.

Awful experience with this place which is horrible seeing how just on Valentine’s Day I picked up food that was amazing. Management didn’t seem to care much for our complaints with undercooked food and terrible waiters.

Zoe’s was so busy on New Year’s Eve night and she still gave us the best service we could ask for. She had a smile on her face and kept up all of her customers and remained professional and upbeat.
