Our waitress Hannah was great! She was very attentive and made sure we were doing well every few minutes. The food was just ok. When it came out, it looked like it had been sitting on the plate for about an hour, however it was still hot. The 6 oz sirloin was overcook but still tasted decent. The combo appetizer platter looked like a mixture of Walmart freezer section items that had been heated up a while ago. It was warm, but still tasted like cheap walmart freezer snacks. The chips were very good, the best part of the appetizer. Overall just an ok visit.

Normally I would give them a 5⭐ rating on everything. But the server did 1 very inappropriate thing . The mgr on duty did take care of the situation. The server was pretty good.. I could tell she was new… But her service was still good. She was pleasant and smiled.The food was great as always. When we received our check it came as a “duplicate 2” copy of the check. That is a red flag!!! Anybody that eat out frequently knows you get an original and a restaurant copy. Why was a customer given a “Duplicate 2′?Then there was a note that was handwritten that said ” to tip in cash”. It floored me!! I believe in giving a server a 2nd chance. So I will not give the name.The mgr stopped by the table to see how everything was. So I told him what happened. He was shocked. He went and got the duplicate2 out of the trash. Brought it back and verified with us that it was the one she gave on the dropping off of the bill. He did take care of the issue with the server. He apologized several times. He thanked me for bringing it to his attention. The server did apologize. But she also over explained herself that she prefers cash tips. I just looked at her and said that I understand that… But your taxes comes from the actual bills…. Not from your actual tips. She said it was ok not to tip her. But she had a deliberate hier about her attitude with that apology. We will still come to this location because the food is good…and so are the other servers. And especially since the mgr was very professional about the issue with the check. Just because the server did something totally unprofessional doesn’t mean that we will not return. Yes,she made a mistake and her mgr handled our complaint as a professional. Just as a customer… Beware of your check when dropped off. .. at any restaurant.

Hit or miss, definitely don’t go on weekends, try a week day and sit at the bar. Went today, Saturday and ordered the oriental chicken salad, but in a wrap and asked for a side of the brown oriental sauce they use on the salad, and fries – this used to be on the menu, and a soda. After about 15 minutes my food arrived along with my drink. There were no fries, no side of sauce and it was only chicken and lettuce in the wrap, no crispy noodles, no sliced almonds and no slaw. I also did not receive any silverware and got a few napkins about 5 minutes after my food arrived. When I paid the bill was NINETEEN DOLLARS! There was also a .60 ‘Ortl wrap’ up charge on the bill. The waitress never came back to check on me even though she had at least 4 other tables in my area. It almost feels as if the staff hides in the back and only takes your order and brings the food out and avoids any other interaction with the customers. The couple beside me seemed to be pretty frustrated as well. The lady had most of her food still on her plate and her husband got up and went to the bar a few times.

Hubby and I stopped in for lunch after Christmas shopping. We live in NC so this was our 1st time eating here. We sat at the bar and were served by the bartender herself. Great personality, professional but also funny and very pretty! I wasn’t feeling well so we ended up boxing our food up to-go almost immediately after it was placed on the table. She could tell I was not doing well so she did everything she could to help me and help my husband get everything together and bagged up. Very nice of her.

Food and service were excellent. Restaurants bathrooms need some attention as one urinal was coming g off the wall, but was clean. The service area leading to bathrooms was dirty. Otherwise we will definitely be back.

Applebees have really fallen in food quality. The inside decor hasn’t changed forever. I’ve been to this location twice now and I can’t see it making another year. The Caesar salad was lacking any flavor. I’m not coming back.

Riblets were tough and not eatable. Shrimp was raw, and tenders were tough as well. Fries was good, and tea was good. I wish I could rate a zero I would.

Waited to be seated for 10min no one even acknowledged our existence. Finally our server came over and just said “follow me”. The food was down right gross I got the Bangin Burger and it was greasy and soggy. My wife got some horror show of a meal, Riblets. This is what used to be scrap meat that got thrown away. Now they charge $12 for it. Never coming back here, service was horrible, food was horrible, the experience was horrible.

Food was what I would expect from Applebees, not amazing but not horrible. Waitress was very polite and attentive and manager was doing a good job as well. That’s about where the good ends.
This please is desperately in need of Jon Taffer although I think he might have a heart attack stepping into this place. The entry way has no working lights almost as if they don’t want you to enter. The entry way smells like a dirty bar that hasn’t been cleaned in 20 years. The men’s bathroom reeked of urine worse then what I have smelled in the subways in Chicago and New York and the floor was so sticky which I’m sure is from all un mopped urine which is causing the smell. Half the lights in the section against the back wall were not working. It’s like the owner has completely given up on this place which is a shame because a couple of hard weekends of deep cleaning and replacing some light bulbs could help turn this place around and give it that “family friendly” vibe vs the feeling like your entering a run down restaurant in some abandoned town (which rock hill is not..)
