I had the worst experience after becoming a consistent customer for the last month. My wife and I came in today. I’ve been coming here at least 2 to 3 times a week for the last month. I am new to the Delaware area and found this location to be really good when it comes to service and food, but I had the wrong experience today. I didn’t have my ID on me like I normally do but honestly the last few times i’ve been to this location they didn’t ask for my ID because they seen it so much and they know I’m of age. I ordered my food and then I went to order drinks. I realized I didn’t have my ID. The server told me she would have to ask a manager. I asked her to ask the manager like she said the manager came over Steven and was very rude. His tone was completely rude and honestly, it gave racist because he didn’t talk to the Caucasian customers the way he talk to me and he was very nonchalant. He didn’t honestly care for my service and I come here a lot and spend a lot of money here and give great tips and I have this experience from a manager. I’ve never met while coming here so many times it’s completely unacceptable. He told me he’s not going to jail for me and breaking the law for me when he could’ve easily just said hey these are the rules. I’m sorry I can’t do that instead of giving me extra sassy responses I was completely nice and professional, so I don’t know where this energy came from. I think it’s because he may have been in a meeting or something in the server started speaking to him, but for him to respond with such a negative tone is completely disrespectful and uncalled for it’s not what you say, but how you say it. Not sure how you got a management position with the sassy disrespectful nonchalant attitude and tone. You should treat everyone the same because you don’t. I understand you was doing your job, but you didn’t have to be nasty about it.

We came at 1pm on a weekday and the service was amazing! Food was delicious! And the manager and waitress sealed the deal. I will definitely be coming back again.

It started off great. Then was the woman running the floor and a joyful experience turned quickly into a bad one that’s still irritating me.
My particular server (Marah) was FABULOUS! Back in my restaurant days as a Floor Manager, I’d’ve been offering her a job. Prompt, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and completely on top of things. Five stars to Marah! The young person at the door was also a pleasure. Very good Host; four stars.
But then the woman running the show. My first observation was the table across from me stormed out angrily. I listened to what the woman told the two helping her reset the table that the man had been her former employer. I can see see why it was “former”. However, I still wanted to COMPLIMENT the Store Manager on the excellent service and otherwise enjoyable experience.
I waited until 10PM to call. Dinner rushes are usually well over by then. What I got was an angry, and outright RUDE attitude from the woman whose voice I recognized as that floor manager.
“I’m in the middle of a dinner rush! So what?” Spoken in an aggressive tone. When I explained I was calling for the manager to COMPLIMENT the service, what I got was a yeah right kind of tone and just left on hold. I gave up. My want to compliment has turned into demand for apology, but good luck getting ahold of anyone.
From what I saw and heard with the table that stormed out (and I don’t need that 8 feet from me while I’m trying to enjoy my time either) to the angry attitude on the phone and obvious blocking me from talking with someone higher up, it’s clear the Floor Manager thought I was lying (like telling me you’re in the middle of a dinner rush at 10pm isn’t bull) and thought I was calling to complain about her her incompetence.
Well, now I am. That tone was completely out of line and unprofessional. If that’s the kind of people you put in charge, and how they act when you call happily to compliment them, then you must not like your customers very much. If that’s the case, I don’t need you either, but I’m too polite to tell you what you can do with your restaurant and it’s management. I’m sure Miss Attitude Problem can figure that out on her own, provided her head isn’t already taking up that space

My food wasn’t cooked through, everyone else seemed ok. Waiting for the waitress stopped over a few times. Forgot one of our drinks an also noticed a corndog on the floor that was not from us, she didn’t clean it up or ask anyone too. She just laughed an left it. I added a picture of it because we picked it up an it became a big joke, much like the restaurant. It was a big table with 9 people, we ordered a good amount of things. You would think we would be a priority, no no no. We mentioned that it was my youngest son’s birthday dinner an not that it was a big deal but they didn’t even offer anything. I would say it was very clear that my food hasn’t been touched, I took a bite of my chicken sandwich an noticed it was not fully cooked. I don’t like to complain so I didn’t bother saying anything an I even paid for it. In total my trip there cost me a couple hundred dollars an I even dropped the girl a tip. I can’t in good conscience recommend a place that is run in this manner to others tho. If it were busy I could maybe look away from a few things but the section I was in had 3 tables an two people working it. Mediocrity should not be rewarded, they need training from the manager to the ones that clean up. If your thinking about Applebee’s don’t go here, the only good thing was that my youngest son now knows better than to pick Applebee’s again so thanks for that lil gem I guess! The waitress was polite an very welcoming to us until we had been forgotten multiple times.

Came in for a very late lunch. Service was awesome. Food came out quick which was really nice because we were starving.

Good Food. Loved the Nachos, Chicken n Shrimp. The service was really awesome. Ana D really took care of our table. She was polite, helpful and we asked her to see if she can help food done such way, she tried all and got it done. Great Job! She was training someone and I think the management made the right choice of picking out a perfect trainer.

Where were sitting it was too tight, the table had sitting for 4 and the wall was in the way which made it bit uncomfortable. That’s why I gave 4 stars.

Its was super clean and it was my grandpa’s birthday and they sung him a custom happy birthday song and gave him a free cake. And the service was good and are waiter name is Daniel and he was perfect thanks for the service 10/10 food.1

Experience was horrible. The waiter we had she was not a tentative at all did not even come back to the table to give us plates so that we could eat our my appetizers. We also had to ask for napkins because she did not come back to the table to even bring them. The only time she came back was when she bought the food like I told her you never know where your blessing is going to come from we eat out all the time we ate at the bar at TGI Fridays. The lady was tentative, even though she was serving other people at the bar in the tables. She still came to ask us to make sure we was good and we tipped our off like we always do when we go out and get good service she gave the excuse she have many jobs but like I told her you were serving people and your service is what your tip is based off of was not going to give her anything but I did give her about $10. She could’ve made 50 but being as though she did not really want to serve us it seems like we just decided to pack up our food and leave that is how bad the service was would have gave the food back, but the cook did cook the food for us so I will not be that ungrateful people need to know when you are serving people give them your best service that is how you make your money I guess because we were black she thought she was not going to get a good tip and she was black but she did look out for the white people behind us many times never know who you’re serving funny because we always tip 50.00 dollars or more her lost never going back.

The employees and atmosphere here are amazing. Our server Peyton was very kind. Drinks/apps were great and cheap! The restaurant was clean and full of smiles. Will be coming back here when I visit DE again. Thanks team!
