Jimmy’s Cafe On Jefferson is a great breakfast and lunch restaurant. The atmosphere is casual, lively and fun with loads of television and movie art. The food is very good and there is a wide variety. Our server was super friendly and very attentive. Definitely would return.

A bustling breakfast spot with friendly staff, and hearty portions. The water-poached eggs were soft and perfect , and the three-meat omelette was deeply satisfying. The toasted muffins added just the right touch. The quirky décor – with framed photos and half a truck bursting out of the wall- adds a cheerful diner style charm.
A great place to start the day!

Family of 3 with a small child. This place instantly became our favorite restaurant. We came at 10:45am and only waited 10 minutes. The food was served hot. Kids menu has healthy options. Our kid got the happy face, it came with some fruit, whipped cream, and chocolate chips. If we were to get it again I would ask them to keep the syrup or the chocolate chips because it was very sweet for a small child. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, it was the best I’ve ever had; very light and delicate taste. I’m already dreaming of the next time I can order it. Our other family member got the hash brown, toast, eggs and sausage. Sausage was great quality, fresh, high quality. I understand why this place won Best of Albuquerque. A few times we couldn’t find our server but it really seems like they work well together, it wasn’t difficult to get what we needed. It can get quite loud so maybe not a great place for kids with sensory issues.

This was my first time here, and it didn’t disappoint. The cinnamon roll was delicious, as was the red chili. The coffee was ok. Our server was great. The tables are a little close to together. But all in all, good experience.

Went there for lunch on recommendation.
I order the guisado burrito with green and red sauce.
The waitress so very polite and kind. My food came out quickly. Before I knew it I was half way through the food. She was kind in explaining the green sauce was quite spicy and offered to place both on the side which turned out to be the way to go. Great atmosphere. Everyone was enjoying their food having good conversation. Will definitely be back. Delicious

We tried Jimmy’s Cafe for the first time today, and I’m honestly a little mad at ourselves for not going sooner.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming—like the kind of place where you feel like a regular even when it’s your first visit.

My husband ordered the meat lovers burrito with green chili, which he attacked like a man who had been stranded in the desert for three days. Safe to say it was a hit. I went with the pancake combo, and let me tell you… those pancakes were so fluffy they might actually qualify as small pillows. I’m pretty sure clouds take notes from these pancakes.

But the real shocker? FOUR strips of bacon. Four! In this economy?! And then they casually gave me a bonus slice like bacon generosity is just part of their business model. I felt seen. I felt valued. I felt like I had finally found my people.

And the sweet tea… WOW. I lived in South Georgia for ten years, so my sweet tea standards are borderline unreasonable. Jimmy’s Cafe passed the test with flying colors. It was easily some of the best sweet tea I’ve had in a long time.

The atmosphere was also super cool—old photos everywhere and even a GMC Jimmy coming out of the wall, which made the whole place feel fun and unique.

Delicious food, generous portions, amazing sweet tea, and genuinely kind staff. We’ll definitely be back—and next time we’re bringing the family so they can experience the bacon abundance for themselves.

10/10. Highly recommend.

This place is fantastic and a must come to! Our server Evelin was super friendly and wonderful. The food is absolutely delicious. My creamy green chile chicken soup was phenomenal my green chile pastrami gluten free half sandwich was smokey and delicious! Prices are reasonably! My family enjoyed their food as well. I can’t wait to come back!
Update: came back again and it’s still absolutely delicious

Stopped here for a late breakfast after the morning balloon launch.

Excellent food and good service.

Has off street parking.

Typical breakfast type joint filled with locals and Balloonist/Crews.
Louder than we like but could still have a conversation.

I like it. A friend brought me here for breakfast. Better than Wecks and slightly better than The Range.
It’s like an old diner feel and the mom and pop is still very present. It just feels down to earth and my server was nice
The food was good and the selection looked good also. The prices seemed really good for the amount of food I saw everyone get.
I’m excited to return here with company. Hopefully it’s more of the same!
