When I got there, they told me the wait was going to be about 20 minutes, turns out only about 10 minutes. Our waitress was really nice. I ordered the shrimp chicken with mash potatoes. The food looked really good, but it had no flavor. I was very disappointed at the shrimp, anyway, it looked good, no flavor.

Lyn our waitress was AWESOME! She was so happy and upbeat. My husband got the bourbon chicken with shrimp, he ate it all. I got chicken tenders, really good. Will go back again.

Ordered here about an hour ago. I always check the food beforehand and I didn’t have time because it was later than I expected and I had to pick my son up from daycare. I got home and we were missing quesadillas, french fries and my fish was an absolute joke. For $15.99 this is what you get. (Pic attached) I called the restaurant and they said they changed the fish and this is what you get now.

Applebees is always a decent go-to for my family but Sanford location is honestly the best! Specifically, Lynn, is the sweetest waitress (or person in general) I’ve ever met! We’ve been a good 5-10x since moving back 7mos ago and experienced her as a waitress nearly every time and even when we haven’t she just lights up the whole place, smiling and saying hi to everyone. She will help even if you aren’t her table! My grandmother saw her yesterday and told me of another awesome experience so I had to write this review. Lynn if you see this, never change! You always make our day. We will be back soon!

The food was horrible. It was the smallest steak I think I’ve ever ordered at a restaurant and there were more onions then there was steak and way to pricey for such a small portion!!! Was most definitely plenty of room for improvement and then some!

I’ve only ever dined in, typically with larger parties because of extracurricular celebrations, and most recently my birthday party yesterday! Always had amazing experiences with the staff, who are incredibly nice and accepting, and I never thought the food was subpar 🙂
