Customer Service is top-notch at this location. Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating. This location has counter seating, separate dining room, rooms, a common dining room, waiting area and an entry area with business cards and information.
Only reason I knocked a star down, is for the pricing. I believe the pricing is a little steep for what you receive, but the food quality is exceptional. Haven’t had anything from there that I have not liked. My mother used to order the biscuits and gravy, and today I was in my feelings, so I decided to order two single biscuits and gravy and really wanted some bacon to go with it. I was informed that a side of bacon was $4.99, which is absolutely too expensive. However, the lady on the phone was informing me of other options to make the price more accommodating. Weight staff made sure to include receipt, utensils, and condiments with the order. Highly recommend this location.

The food is average and what you would expect at a country Cafe. The last two times our service was outstanding. The waitresses do an awesome job and that’s honestly probably what keeps their parking lot busy. We’ll make a point to visit more often.

My boyfriend and I stopped by on our way home from Kansas, and really enjoyed our experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was incredible. I enjoyed my tortilla soup and grilled cheese, and my boyfriend has been telling everyone back home how good the chicken fried chicken and baked potato was. Even better, we received a filling amount of food without taking a hit to the wallet. It might have been an on a whim visit, but I think it may become a staple of our trips to visit my family.

Apple Barrel Cafe is my go-to spot for getting breakfast on the weekends, they have some of the best eggs and pancakes in town. I recently got the Whole Wheat French Toast with Egg Whites, bacon and sausage links, it was delicious!

I love Apple Barrel. Not only do they have A-tier comfort food, but the staff treats you like family each visit. The Bible sized menu is intimidating at first, albeit. However upon a handful of visits, you will see that the consistency among the various dishes is unlike those of any other local establishment. Cheryl usually is our host, and getting to chat with her is always a highlight of my usual Sunday outing.

Another successful date night. The service was excellent, and my meal was well worth the money. The only reason for 4-stars is my wife’s meal did not appear to be a great value. She ordered the salmon, mashed potatoes, and tortilla soup. There was no problem with her food as I did sample each item but the portions, to me, did not seem adequate. I will say the soup was excellent. Since she doesn’t eat a whole lot due to a previous surgery so her portions did not matter to her but she did comment about how much more i had in front of me. My order on the other hand, was chicken fried chicken, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and biscuits and gravy. Definitely no complaints about my portions. The chicken was hot and golden browned smothered in gravy. Plenty of hashbrowns, 2 eggs as expected, and a biscuit with gravy on the side. Definitely worth the 8.99 I paid for mine. For the pair of us, including drinks and a tip, we escaped for 40 even. Again, the service was excellent and no complaints about the food itself. Will definitely visit again and see if we can’t earn that 5th star.
