I ordered lamb biryani and chicken soup. Soup was average and lamb is very bad I couldn’t eat 1 piece lamb… totally not eatable very hard to bit, I end up eating rice and leaving lamb pieces totally. Quantity of biryani less compared to any other biryani outlet in Parsippany

Awesome North Indian food. Run by a family and they maintain a homely atmosphere. Great buffet with good spread in the afternoons and good price. For dinner, from the menu, the goat bhuna is really good. I also loved the chicken tandoori. The Naan and Bhatura also are very tasty . Overall, awesome food and atmosphere!

Delicious! We got the Non-vegie combo meal. It comes with samosas, saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, chicken tandoori, naan, and rice. We had so much food and it was all spectacular, highly recommend!

Tried them for the first time, and we LOVED it!! We got the non-veg food for two, substituted the chicken tikka masala for chicken vindaloo. Everything was delicious! Great value too: 3 main dishes and an appetizer, plus naan, poppadum, rice and raita for under $35. It was a great experience overall, from placing the order to picking it up. Owners courteous, recommend 100% We tasted the food before we took the picture 🙂

By and far the best Indian food that I have had in the Northern NJ area and I have tried quite a few places. Their Naan is absolutely delicious, as are many of their entrees and appetizers. This restaurant seems to be run by a close knit family, and it shows in the good quality and deliciousness of the food. The front host is also very nice and pleasant. All in all I highly recommend Apna Swad if you are in Northern NJ and in the mood for Indian, they will not disappoint!
