Here at Antioch Taphouse and Restaurant we strive to create a friendly and casual atmosphere for all to enjoy. We want our restaurant to be a place you can bring the family and enjoy a beer, food and watch sports on one of our various televisions. This place is not what it used to be. It is much better now!!! Had dinner and it was delicious. We ordered the half slab Baby Back Ribs and a Rib Eye steak and they were awesome. They have a great choice of beers from the Tab, other alcoholic drinks and sodas. I would definitely recommend this place. We had a grwat time. The dessert was amazing (icecream and chocolate cake).

This place is a great spot. The service is always solid, the food is consistently good, and the atmosphere is hard to beat. The bar being right in the center gives the whole restaurant great energy, especially when games are on.
We’ve stopped in for quick meals and also stayed to relax and watch sports, and it works well for both. Food comes out hot and fast, and the staff does a great job. You’ve got to try the truffle fries. We’ll definitely be back, especially for playoff games.

Came just after opening so my dad and I were the only people here shortly after 11am on a Thursday. The gentleman that served us was professional courteous and efficient. We each had one cocktail with our meals. The drinks were fine and priced at $12 each. I think all drinks are overpriced but this place is in line with similar restaurants. I had very high expectations for the food as I heard good things. Unfortunately, either due to what I ordered or the time of day I can only say that the food was okay. Having said that I never base my overall experience on only one visit. I plan on returning one or two more times to try other dishes and different times of day. This review is based solely on this one visit. Stay tuned for further.

Went for a late lunch during football playoffs. Greeted right away and seated in the best spot to view the game. Ash, our server went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. From making menu recommendations to letting me alter my order and assuring I was pleased with the way it came out. Not to mention his awesome personality! We truly could not have asked for better service and will definately be returning because of it.

Tried this place out on a Thursday night and got seated right away. Good menu with lots of food to choose from. Decided on the butter chicken and garlic naan for appetizers and it was really good and for entree ribeye steak with garlic bread, veggies and mashed potatoes I enjoyed it a lot. The steak was a little over cooked but overall great taste. Customer service was awesome.

Food: Ordered the cheeseburger, butter chicken and wings. Cheeseburger and the butter chicken were excellent. Sure a good surprise with the butter chicken! Good flavor in it. Goes well with some good beer!
Drinks: Good Beer. We ordered a dark, was flat; maybe not poured correctly. Also cocktails are not bad, even price-wise. Got the orange martini.
Service: Kim was our server. Very friendly with a smile always on her face. Interactive and gave feedback on our selection when we were ordering. Good service, keep it up!

So I’ve been twice in the last week, for both Niners playoff games. My first time I was excited because there weren’t many people in there at the time, people slowly start to trickle in over the evening. Our service was OK, Our server was not fully attentive to us and we weren’t a big party and there wasn’t a lot of people around us. She kept forgetting our order, and brought us the wrong drinks. At one point, we didn’t see her for a while, Then they took everyone off the floor, so there were no servers or bartenders for a few minutes. She was nice. I just think they had her running around the whole restaurant because we saw her going to both sides helping people. I will say the male host be doing too much . Like talking about marijuana or whatever to customers is inappropriate. Low-key think he is off of something the way he was moving the last two times I was there. I overheard him a lot last night talking to a table that I presume he knows because he kept calling them The N-word, but none of them should be saying the N-word if you catch my drift. Our older lady server from last night. She also wasn’t very attentive. She didn’t come over and check on us as frequently as she should have. I also asked for napkins and didn’t get napkins for 20 minutes. I had to ask again for napkins. I also noticed that staff was moving tables to accommodate an incoming group that was bigger than 10. Then when they walked in and were all African-American, they were split up into groups, which I didn’t like and didn’t make sense because they had a table move just to make space for the big group. It felt a little racist as a black woman seeing that happen. Maybe everyone needs new server training because I had hope for the taphouse. I also ordered a brownie with ice cream and it was served to me melted. I’ll just post the photo on yelp since I can’t do it here.

This is my 2nd time coming here and I’m very impressed. I’ve lived in Antioch for 3 years now and only just discovered this restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the vibes inside are nice. I wish I knew about them sooner!!!! Can’t wait to share more meals with my family and friends here!
