Food was good and price is good. I had the steak burger with hash browns and 2 fried eggs. It was great. Depending on the day, their 24/7. Great late night spot to eat.

Checked out Anita’s for the 1st time. The new spot will definitely be a plus for business. Attended for an office get together. The hashbrowns are definitely a must. The grits were good and the biscuits were amazing. I definitely recommend. Some people were complaining there wasn’t enough commotion but I never experienced the old spot to compare. Parking can be an issue due to the meters and limited space but 1 hour was enough time on the meter with no worries.

The food is pretty good if you can ever get your order placed. Either they haven’t been doing this restaurant thing for very long or they just don’t care about customer service or satisfaction. The phone is always busy and when you do manage to get through, most of the time you can’t place an order for pick up because when it’s busy, they stop taking orders over the phone. I did.
Manage to place an order monday for a hamburger in some fries. I put the order in around 11:30 and when I arrived at 12 to pick it up on my lunch break.I had to wait another ten minutes. Then the fries were soggy and limp. The burger was pretty good so not all bad but overall disappointing.

Update 12-30-2025

I decided to give this place a second shot against my better judgment. Because I live right upstairs. I decided to order the special which was a roast beef on french bread with french fries and a drink because I was in a hurry and I figured they couldn’t screw up the special too badly. Boy was I wrong.I had to wait an hour for 3 slices of Roast Beef on bread. That was more like croutons , soggy fries and a flat Coke. Don’t waste your money on this place. It’s awful their super slow and the service is terrible. The only way they’ll ever see me at this place again is if i’m walking by with my dog.

We went looking for some coffee stumbled across this place. Server was friendly. Food was great. Had the breakfast bowl. Husband had the breakfast sandwich. They definitely give you lots of options.

Good location and good service/ food did not match the reviews unfortunately. Their pancakes came completely burnt black and they replaced it with more burnt pancakes. Not sure how they have good reviews unless you like burnt food. People need to be more honest. Maybe their old location was better quality wise and it didn’t carry over to this new one.

Food was okay. Just average breakfast. Our service was terrible we waited maybe 45 min to get our food, and it wasn’t even busy. Our server needed to retire, she said she has been there for 30 years but I’m not really sure how lol. She never refilled our waters and when we asked it seemed to be a problem. We had a party of 4 and 2 of us got our food first and it took an additional 15 min for the other 2 of us to get our food. When we asked for a knife she told us she would have to try and find some. Asked for extra napkins and never brought them.

Wow! THE ALL NEW ANITAS GRILL NOLA! With the old location demolished. It has been relocated to the iconic Howard Building at 833 Howard Avenue in the CBD. All the equipment, furniture and fixtures are new and very clean. The atmosphere is amazing, large glass windows give way to beautiful views of the city life and it’s capacity is more than doubled from the old location! Check them out!!! Opening soon!!!

Everyone was great! I fresh off a flight so excited to experience Anita’s and it has been years since I’ve had a chance to eat there. Everything was still wonderful I enjoyed it.

It has “world famous” on the sign which makes it seem appealing but it did not live up to its name. The place can use an update, cleanliness is questionable and the food was not the best. 2/3 pancakes were burnt and the sausage wasn’t cooked fully so I ate around the rim. My husband enjoyed his omelette and the waitress (Danielle) was really good.

Always heard about this place. I finally had the pleasure of eating here. Atmosphere feels like an old school diner. The workers were so friendly and the portions were generous. I am very picky about my pancakes, but those buttermilk pancakes were delicious! My husband enjoyed his ham and cheese omelet, with his side of grits. Next time I’ll try the grilled pork chop. It seemed to be very popular and it looked scrumptious.
