I placed a takeout order at 5:51 PM, received email confirmation, and was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. I arrived at the scheduled time, waited 20 minutes, and was then given the wrong order. I had already called ahead to confirm my order was in the system, so this was extremely frustrating.
I informed the staff and they said they would correct it, but after that there was no communication at all. I waited over an hour with no updates. When I finally asked if my order had even been started, no one could give me an answer. Eventually, a hostess handed me a bag to-go. I paid $110, only to return to my hotel and discover my order was again wrong.
I ordered:
• NY Strip with parmesan fries
• Filet steak and fries
• Spinach artichoke dip
• Soup of the day
• Caesar salad
Instead, I received the wrong steaks, covered in coleslaw, broccoli, and green beans. I did not receive my artichoke dip or soup, and my salad had no dressing and not the toppings requested. There were no utensils or napkins either.
After a 14-hour road trip on the night of my graduation, all I wanted was a nice meal to celebrate—but instead this ruined the evening. I tried calling to speak with a manager, but no one answered. The staff showed no communication, no urgency, and not one apology for the inconvenience.
I would genuinely like a refund. This was unacceptable service and a complete failure of basic customer care.
Thank you
If you are looking for more than just a meal—if you want an experience that feeds the soul as much as the palate—look no further. Our Christmas Eve dinner was nothing short of spectacular, largely thanks to the incredible atmosphere and the impeccable service of our host, Sasha.
The Service
From the moment we sat down, Sasha was a revelation. I’ll admit, I am a picky diner with a lot of questions, but Sasha handled us with effortless grace and patience. She didn’t just know the menu; she felt into exactly what I was looking for. Her honesty was refreshing—when I asked about “enhancements” for the prime rib, she steered me toward a simple side of chimichurri, insisting the meat was so high-quality it didn’t need “adulterating.” She was 100% right. It is rare to find a host with that level of integrity and culinary intuition.
The Food
The kitchen is clearly operating at the top of its game. We started with:
The Bone Marrow: Decadent, rich, and the perfect opening note.
Butternut Squash Soup: A delightful, velvety seasonal masterpiece.
For the mains, I opted for the Prime Rib—ordered “Chef’s Choice”—and it was delivered with a level of perfection I’ve honestly never experienced before. My boyfriend’s Ribeye, topped with a Rogue blue cheese crust and paired with a loaded baked potato, was absolute mouthwatering bliss.
The Drink & Vibe
To pair with our steaks, Sasha selected a red blend from Browne Family Vineyards. Not only did it complement the richness of the meal perfectly, but the label itself—”Do Epic Shit”—set the tone for the entire evening. It was a beautiful reminder to look toward the future and beyond. (Thank you, cow! ❤️❤️)
The Verdict
Sasha deserves a raise! It is people like her who elevate “good food” into a “pleasant memory.” This restaurant offers a sense of community and a welcoming atmosphere that is hard to find. We will absolutely be back every single time we are in the area.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves mind-blowing food, world-class wine, and service that feels like home!
