I haven’t eaten at Angel’s since I was a teenager. So I finally went after years not going. So I ordered nachos for my boss & chicken fajita for myself. I have to say the nachos were not ever tasty it looked like they reheat everything in the microwave. My chicken fajita where cut into big chunks and not flavorful. I was really hoping for some yummy and delicious food. But sadly it was a disappointment. I just hope this was just a off day for the restaurant when I placed my order.

One of the best Mexican cuisine restaurant in Lake County. Family owned and thriving in the community of Finley, this place and the great family who work here have served the community for many years! You’re always warmly greeted, served promptly and your food is always amazing, not to mention reasonably priced. The dining area is always clean and roomy, and there’s ample parking in front of the building and across the street.

Great hospitality and great food! The server knows everyone who walks in the door (or he tried to make them feel comfortable by striking up a conversation), and he was very thoughtful. I ordered a margarita (not gonna lie, I have a low tolerance), and he held off on giving me my check for almost 10-15 minutes so I didn’t automatically get behind the wheel.
The food was piping hot and tasty! I thought it had lots of flavor and it was very authentic.
It seemed a little dead though, not sure if they have speakers for music, but I think that would be a nice touch.

This little find was a great surprise. If it weren’t for knowing someone we would have not found it definitely off the main road. This gem is an amazing Mexican Restaurant. Two people in our party don’t like this type of cuisine and they were raving about how good it was. Perfectly seasoned and they have been in business for 30 years. We had pork carnitas and a shredded beef burrito enchilada style. They don’t have Pico DE gayo,ground beef or flavored margaritas but honestly everything is so good you don’t care. I usually like green sauce and hate red forgot to ask if they had green sauce but again the red sauce was better than any green I had ever eaten. No belly aches or gas at the end of the night they cook to perfection and the service was exceptional! Price was right for four people. Less than 80$ we will definitely go back best Mexican food on the planet!!

Update: Our neighbor wanted to go to Angel’s for her 90th birthday. Called ahead for our party of 5. Table ready, water, chips & salsa, we had there AMAZING Nachos, and Chile Verde. ” Delicious ” along with yummy Margaritas. Along with lil birthday surprise from owner with a candle.. so thoughtful.
We are always taken care of, generous portions. Always leave well fed & happy. Great service, again best Nachos in Lake Co. Thank you so much…

Fantastic food and vibe, very friendly behavior! We had Fajitas and Carne Asada with Margaritas, all came in great portions and taste. We’ll come back anytime se get back to clear lake area. I’m sure you cannot find any better Mexican eatery in this area. Maybe the service could be better, we had to wait for a long time on a Friday night, which makes sense for a great restaurant to be crowded!
