Dined in with my family tonight and our experience was less than ideal.
1) After we were sat, we waited 15+ minutes before we were even acknowledged. Historically we would have left and gave our business to another establishment, but it was late and we had hungry children so ultimately opted to stay. A simple “Hi there! I’ll be serving you guys tonight and will be right over for your drink order” would have sufficed to at least acknowledge the delay in service.
2) My husband’s food was served 20 minutes before our sushi entrees were brought to our table, after sitting on the sushi counter near the POS within eye shot for over 10 minutes. Our server (and many others) walked by our sushi sitting in the “window” multiple times without pausing to prioritize running food that was waiting there. Whether it’s your table or not, run the dang food. Nothing is more frustrating then waiting for food that you are looking at 10 feet away.
3) Our BABIES (16 months and 20 months) were counted towards the 5 person total of having a 20% gratuity automatically added to your bill. This was absolutely wild to me, especially considering we received no where near 20% worthy service. So beware of the ridiculous head count logic.
We are in the service industry and generally very gracious with our dining experiences, but this restaurant was very poorly run and made us, the customers, feel like we were an inconvenience to the staff from the moment we walked in.

You ever lived somewhere for a few years and then discover a restaurant you wished you had been to before? This is that place! The food is DELICIOUS, AUTHENTIC, and FRESH. The service is engaging and responsive. We had the Tom Kha and Wonton Soups, Hamachi and Spider Rolls, and Pad Thai – all great. We’ll be back often. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

My first time here and I loved it, pam gave me the best service and made me feel like home, the brown sugar boba tea was delicious, got the crab Rangoon and the ramen! Everything was delicious will definitely be back!

I have been eating here for years. It is my favorite restaurant period. Out of any type of cuisine. I’ve had Japanese and Thai food at so many places and Ichimaru is leaps and bounds ahead of anywhere else I’ve ever tried. I’ve eaten about 50% of the menu so far over the years. And every single thing, from the pad Thai to the sashimi, to the rolls, to the ramen is by a mile the best I’ve ever had. Servers are so sweet and respectful. They are always recommending new things for me to try, and every time is something delicious. They even know most of what I want to order before even having to ask. I highly suggest anyone reading this to please give it a try. I always take family, friends, business associates here whenever possible and they always leave so satisfied.

Food was good and well prepared. It was a Friday night and the restaurant was full. Service was a bit slow but the food arrived hot. We were very happy with the dishes ordered and will come back.

Wanted to explore other sushi restaurants and I’m glad we came here. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was great. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls which were tasty and crispy. I believed I ordered the crunchy salmon which was Devine. I’m all for cream cheese in my sushi. It brings all the flavors together. For dessert we ordered the Thai donuts. We said we would eat only two but we ended up eating the whole thing before the check. They were light and fluffy!

My partner and I visited this spot for the first time after leaving our nearby gym in the same plaza. We were pleased to see that they were still open and there were no other patrons there besides us. We opt to sit on their beautifully lit patio. We ordered two of their signature rolls, the Deep Blue Sea and the Lobster Seafood Volcano. For an appetizer, we had their steamed potstickers (gyoza) and their steamed dumplings. The presentation on our plates were amazing and the food was delicious and filling! Our server was welcoming and offered suggestions. We will definitely be back as I am excited to try their other selections especially their ramen!
