We were working and decided to check out this restaurant located at 334 Main St, Catskill, NY 12414 We ordered two medium Pernil bowls with Oxtail, Pasteles and two Goya drinks.
The Pernil was juicy and flavorful and overall a great combination with the Rice & Beans. I wasn’t a fan of the Oxtail but I didn’t hate it. This Oxtail didn’t have a lot of meat and wasn’t that flavorful but this won’t be the last time trying it. The Pasteles were okay if they had more flavor to them like the ones I usually get then I would have liked it more. Kinda tasted plain. There was a lot of Masa and not a good amount of Pork.

Very plain looking store from the outside but with very flavorful food inside. Unapologetically simple offerings but with big serving portions. The classic Latin food always served with beans and rice. The store has some tables to seat that are self served but it’s more oriented for takeout. The service is very quick, expect to go in and buy food in less than five minutes. Very pleased overall!

Usually, I go there. The food is very good. This time I made our order of fried chicken withbeans and rice and they give me burnt chicken.this was the fried chicken and they charge me $31.76 for a plate of rice with beans and the fried chicken this is what you call a rip off
